  1. Just spent 7 days on the Coral in Mini Suite and had Reserve Class which was a bonus with dining in the Bordeaux Dining room and no need queue up, just walk in. Only dined in the Horizon when Breakfast & Lunch not available in the Bordeaux. She is a bit tired. Most of the lounge chairs in public areas are hard and uncomfortable as the padding has had its day. Even the lounge in our Mini Suite had worn out cushioning. Finding somewhere to sit and read etc anytime was no problem at all as she only holds 2000 passengers. Food in the Bordeaux was magnificent and staff (Godfrey & Sarah) were wonderful. Didn't do the Sanctuary as you have to pay, which is ridiculous. Has a large Library and lots of seating in it if you just want to relax. All of the shows and entertainers were quite good. The information talks about each Port of call were a total waste of time, hardly any relevant information given. didn't even get told about the availability of a shuttle into own at Airlie Beach, found that out ourselves. All in all, I think you will enjoy the Coral.
  2. Thankyou for your information on the Coral. For your info, we love New Orleans Jazz having been there a few years ago. Will definately not miss On the Bayou. Cheers. ☺☺☺
  3. Boarding the Coral Princess on February 5 in Brisbane for 7 nights. Haven’t travelled on her before. Have a club class mini suite. Are there any bad or good things/experiences travellers have had that I should be aware of. Have never had problems with any of our Princess cruises before but always good to find out from fellow cruisers before we board. Is the cruise director Jodi? And are there any shows worth missing? Etc etc Cheers to all.
  4. Thanks for all the info. We plan to wear masks when out of our cabin and regularly wash hands and use sanitizer. Hope all passengers are sensible when it comes to wearing masks and social distancing. Looking forward to our first cruise since Covid hit in 2020. Done this one before and loved it. Also gloves and masks on our flight to Melbourne and on the Princess bus to the dock.
  5. Due to embark on the Grand Princess in Melbourne on Wednesday 14 November 2022. Does anyone on board have any information as to the status of Covid (if any) on the Grand?
