  1. For what it's worth, here is the automated negative response I received for my very weak/faint hope bid 48 hours before my June cruise... (it was great despite the MoveUp fail!) xxxxxxxxxx., Unfortunately, your offer to upgrade to a Sky Suite wasn't accepted. We're sure you'll have an unforgettable vacation in the stateroom you originally booked. Summary of your offer: SAIL DATE SHIP OFFER PER GUEST Jun 06, 2023 Celebrity Apex $1,200 CAD per person What happens now? Your original stateroom is unchanged, so there's nothing you need to do at this time. Your credit card will not be charged. We look forward to welcoming you aboard. Celebrity Cruises
  2. I can't access my bids today (for August cruises) so perhaps the MoveUp website is having some issues? My limited bidding experience and previous forum comments suggest that there is usually a notice 48 hours or so before the cruise (or earlier if you are successful).
  3. They weren't all at the same time but they were probably between 6:00pm and 7:30pm. We were given pagers and encouraged to have a drink in the lounge while we waited. This was my fourth cruise with Celebrity (second in Aqua) and the first time that I waited over 10 minutes to be seated for any meal.
  4. Congrats on the upgrade. I was in Aqua for the transatlantic in April and enjoyed it a great deal. There were some long-ish (30+ min) waits for a table for dinner at Blu but once inside the food was very good and the service was excellent.
  5. Not necessarily true. I have two different TAs for my B2B in June (long story and I wouldn't recommend doing that again) and was able to get an onboard credit for both cruises (I learned about the discount after final payments) although it did take several 3-way phone calls with the TA(s) and Celebrity to sort that out... (good on the two TAs and Celebrity for accommodating this).
  6. There are some websites that compile "Solo Supplement Deals" by cruise line that I find quite helpful in identifying potential Celebrity solo cruises. The one I use lists the solo supplement %, indicates price per day, highlights good/better/best deals, etc. Still, I usually end up checking/confirming the prices and availability on Celebrity, so it doesn't entirely remove all of the steps.
