I was seeking pictures of us pulling into port and found this thread. There was an announcement the night prior “Brightstar room 7***” meaning a medical emergency in that stateroom. Captain Andy announced on 2/2 that we were changing direction, picking up a local harbor pilot, then heading in to disembark one of our passengers. Those watching from deck saw a passenger on a stretcher (sitting up) with heart monitor wires visible (a mid-20’s age estimate!) The rest of us enjoyed seeing Port Everglades, it was a beautiful ride past all the tall buildings and beautiful houses. Many locals came out to wave, and we waved back! Hoping for a full recovery for that passenger and the many that had intestinal issues on this voyage! There were dozens of reports of vomiting and diarrhea. It was great weather and smooth sailing on the voyage otherwise.
