Hey there, I appreciate the additional information. I did see that file but I liked the form better so I used it instead. I sailed last month and using the Princess form I was able to get my credit just fine. I think it took two days. So, it looks like both ways work. There doesn't seem to be much different between the two files except for when you need to turn in the details. It seems like it may be a flexible deadline because I turned mine in 16 days before my cruise and I was still able to get it mine. So, best of luck to everyone getting their OB Credit, whichever file they use. 😄

If I understand what you are saying, under the Restrictions section of the application form it says this: "Applications to receive this benefit must be made no later than 14 days prior to the cruise departure date." Hey All, If you look under restrictions on the request form below it says the following: "This offer is good for only one stateroom occupied by the shareholder. I appreciate the info! Like I said, I'm not too worried and I know its pretty rare that it would happen. I just wanted to hear some stories while I waited. 😁 I'm waiting until I either get assigned or a couple days out before I print my luggage tags. I don't have a printer at home so I take it USPS to print mine.

What was the longest you have had to wait to get assigned your GTY cabin on a Princess cruise? I'm a little over 5 days out until my curise and I still don't have one assigned. I'm not anxious about it. If the worst happens, I'll be fine. I'm a local who lives an hour from the port and I'm going solo. The only issue I might run into is with Rover and my pet. So, not a massive deal. But, while I wait, I just wanted to hear other peoples experiences. 😁

This was my first time doing it as well so I don't know if you should resubmit to be honest. I can only say what I did. I also didn't have a monthly statement when I submitted mine and only had a week to submit it before the cutoff. So, I contacted the company I bought the stocks with and they sent me a pdf that verified I owned the stock. It only took a couple days. Again, probably overkill, but since its was so close to when 15 day submission cutoff, I provided as clear of information as I could. Did you black out your account/brokerage number? They tell you on the submission form to make sure to black it out before submitting it

I put in my name, cruise ship and cruise date. I submitted the forms needed (proof of ownership and the Carnival Form) but I also repeated the info from the subject line as well as my booking number in the subject of the email. Probably overkill but It also made me feel better knowing I provided as much information as I could.

Anyone get an answer for this one? I have a Princess cruise coming up in a couple weeks out of Los Angeles that is spending two days in San Francisco and one day in San Diego. I do plan to purchase Plus when I get on board the first day so I can use my OBC to cover a portion of the expense. But, I'd love to know if I will need to worry about taxes on my drinks considering how long I will be at US ports.

Not to beat a dead horse but I feel like its worth saying, I got my credit! Took 2 days. So, don't submit online via the website. Instead, use the email on the form you fill out.

What method did you use for the resubmission? Did you use email them directly with sbpcl@princesscruises.com or use the online submission? I sent mine in on Thursday and I haven't seen anything yet. I'll be leaving on the 17th of June so I want to make sure I used the best submission method.
