  1. I posted this in the "Mexican Riviera" port forums, but thought I would try here too.

We are sailing with a 93 year old who wants to shop the Malecons. The heat and humidity will tire her quickly. Does anyone recall seeing wheelchair rentals at either port? (She has refused a wheelchair for the cruise, but would consider one for shopping at one port. She is an amazing woman; more like 60 than 93, but also -

    stubborn.)

  2. Does anyone remember seeing wheelchairs for rent in PV or Mazatlan (for use at

    Malecon)?

93 year old would like to shop, but with the heat and humidity, she won't last long, especially walking outside and to multiple stores.

We tried to talk her into renting one for the entire cruise, but she said, "No way. I don't need one."

Anyway, hope some of you can recall seeing rentals.

  3. We were on the CB earlier this month. We were told to watch a muster show on the television, and that it would be recorded that we had watched it. Just wondering if this will eventually replace attending muster at your assigned station? I doubt it, since they want everyone to know where to go in an emergency. But, wouldn't it be nice??

  4. Thanks to all who chimed in. I totally forgot about the LA traffic.

Any idea how much Uber would charge? Or Super Shuttle? Taxi?

How far from LAX to San Pedro Port?

We're meeting family who are flying in to LAX; arriving 1:00pm. I think this is cutting it pretty close given there might be delays, traffic, etc.

Guess I better see if airline tickets can be changed; fly in the day BEFORE the cruise, eh?

  5. I just noticed on the website that you can plan a reunion with their "with friends"

option. It's at the very bottom of their page. Looks like you can open a forum-type page, enter everyone's name, and then all can post, book cabins next to whomever they wish, plan group get togethers, etc.

Has anyone used this? Does it work well?

  6. Does Princess still offer the end of cruise luggage from cabin to your home airport?

We did this a couple of times, and it was great - not having to locate your bags amongst the thousands, nor dragging them out and to the aiport, made

    the disembarkation easier.

They also printed our airline boarding passes as part of this. Do they still do that?

I believe it was inexpensive too.
