1.
Hi TVLady3,
How did you get them to give you both credits? Everytime I call the NCL Harrah's number they tell me that they only accept 1 discount either 500 off from the creditcard or the Harrah's promotion. Thanks, Kim
Oh, and the $500 off came off my invoice balance, it was not applied to my credit card. I received a 10% discount for being a platinum total rewards member when I booked back in Oct. and at this time the same cruise and same cat. is almost $500 more then what I got it for.:D And I got $100 OBC to boot!

I have not applied the upgrade certificates yet, only the $500 off. I was told this from my NCL rep. that I could if I wanted to send in the upgrade ones and get an additional $40 off or save them for my next cruise.
Seems like some reps. say yes others say no.
3. UPDATE: I called my travel agent today 3/9th and was told the $500 certificate was applied on 3/3 so now have a balance of only $561. And I received a updated invoice e-mail confirmation!:D I'm very happy!:)
I was also told that I could send in the 4 upgrade certificates that I have for another $40 off, I think I will.:p
4.
Did you book this directly with NCL, or through a travel agent? If you booked through a travel agent, have them check for you. If you booked it yourself through NCL, they should email you an updated invoice. If they have not, call your NCL personal cruise consultant. ;)
I booked this thru NCL Harrah's. I have a $1061. balance on my guest copy confirmation, won't the $500 come off of that or will they credit my credit card?
5. I sent in my $500 certificate on 2/23, I tracked it thru certifided mail and it was received and signed for on 2/25. How lond does it take to be credited to my final balance? And how do I find out? I went into my NCL account but I can't get any details other then what cabin I'm in, the date of sail and the passengers in my party.
6. I received my corrected certificate in today's mail.:) For 520 points I got my $500 off certificate, but no upgrade certificate. Who cares its worthless anyhow. And Just yesterday I sent all info to that North Carolina resolution center and wasted 2 stamps! Now I'm out .90 cents!

The first screwed up set of certificates they sent me was 5 upgrade certificates! DUH!

Hey, wonder if I could use them for a future cruise in 2010?:D Then again, I think it will be better if I just use them for s..crap paper!

7. I'm still waiting also. 2 weeks ago I received 5 upgrade certificates for 503 points, should have been $500 + 1 upgrade. I've called NCL twice and my next step is a letter if I don't receive my corrected certificates in a few days. I will let you all know one way or the other.

8. My experience is directly opposite of defreeze's! I too got the wrong amount--I was only credited for the points earned between my December closing date and the 31st! Hope they are fixing that program error, too!

And my problem was different also. I spent $1700 on 12/4th and only received 17 points for it! I should have had 503 total points, but they only sent me 5 upgrade certificates!

9. I was told someone would call me in a few days. I'm waiting but I will call again in a few days. Got my 100 point upgrade for 4 leftover points which means they really are counting points until the 31st or I would have received 5 useless upgrade cert. Now all I want are my 2 x $500 cert. My friend however received her upgrade and $500 cert together. My hubby's account has 42 points and he received nothing. Should push for his cert just in case I ever find a use for them since I would need two. Luckily I don't leave until July.

They are not counting points up to the 31st.

In my case I had 435pts on my Dec. statement, which closed on Dec.3rd. I charged $1700 on Dec.4th to NCL, which should have given me an additional 68pts and I received 5 worthless upgrade certificates.

10. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I am guessing that most cardholders did not get the correct certificates! I'll bet they are getting bombarded with calls!

cbreeze, thats what the NCL latitudes agent told me, that the phone hasn't stopped ringing about this problem.

He also asked me for my reservation #.

I said what if I miss the call and he said to call them back in 5 business days.

We shall see!!!

I urge EVERYONE to call the LATITUDES desk at 1-800-343-0098!

11. I just spoke w/Latitudes dept. They took info and said someone would investigate and call me back within 5 business days. Not sure if it will work or not, but I spent way less time on the phone than calling BoA.

I think NCL's call center is in Arizona, not sure if that's Mtn or Pacific time zone though. :o

I just called the latitudes desk also. They are getting bomebarded with calls. I gave them my name, phone # and last 4 digits of my CC. and how many missing points. They told me they will investigate my account and call me back in 3-5 days. I was also told don't mail anything to Charlotte NC until I hear from them.

12. I'm having the same problem. My closing date was 1/3/09 and on 12/3/08 I charged $1700 toward my NCL Dawn cruise. I was only credited with 17 points! I should have gotten 51 at 3% & 17 at 1% for a total of 68 points. I am so upset, I am suppoused to have 503 points for closing statement and It only shows 452. I did call BOA last night and was given a runaround answer. I was told they would note my account and it would take 6-8 weeks to adjust it and I should receive my certificate by March 1st.

This was all told to me by a supervisior at BOA.

I don't trust them at all! There goes my $500 off certificate, gone!

I called BOA again today and I received a different answer. They do confirm I am missing 51 points and they are going to send my account into research for those points, they said it will take 3-5 days to review it. I'll have to call back next week.

13. I think this is going to be a pain.....I just DH's online statement (closing date of 1/5/09). The ONLY points that were earned were from NCL ($500 onboard charges for Dec cruise) and the points got the bonus rate of 1% only. There are no points calculated/received at the 3%, from NCL or any other charges.

December's statement had 481 points, January's has 486 points. No credit for the $1000 in December charges...

Ugg, will have to call BoA, but think DH is going to have to do that since it's his account.

14. I have 435 points, I still need 65 points to receive a $500 certificate. Is my math correct that I need to charge $1700 to my NCL card now to put toward my 8/09 Dawn cruise????

PLEASE SOMEONE.....HELP!

15. I just booked the Triumph for next 8/09. I was able to get cabin 2444, the 1A with the 2 windows. I will be traveling with my Down Sydrome son, who will get the twin bed. Im a senior citizen and might not be able to clime up the bunk ladder. Is that couch a convertible sofa that I could use instead of the bunk? Or maybe request a cot?
