  1. Just arrived back home after an 8-day Barcelona-Rome Med Cruise. There were two Production Shows, something called "Circles" I believe. I was op Apex last year and it looked a bit their 'Tree of Life' show. Kind of 'Cirque du Soleil'. And there was some sort Disco/Back to Motown/Diva music show. There was a comedian called 'Al Ducharme' which I really like. He did two shows. There was a cover song singer Andrew Derbyshire who did great covers of Queen and George Michael for example. And there was a Rock-cover singer Salvatore Hasard. | am a great music fan, so I prefered the music shows. The Circle-show was nice, but simply not my cup of tea. I was on MSC World Europa last year and on that ship there was almost no live music. That's why I really like Celebrity, they really have live music in de Martini Bar, Eden, The Theatre (and sometimes even in the Club). I spent every night in the Theatre. There is a 0730 pm show, generally about 50-60% full, and a 0930 pm show, generally 80% full. Just one night it was 100% full.
  2. Indeed, if Celebrity booked your flight AND transfer from the cruise terminal to BCN airport, you have nothing to worry about. I arrived end of April in BCN after a cruise with MSC World Europa. We docked at 0600hrs, allowed to disembark 0700hrs, but I was allowed to stay in the room until 0900hrs. I did self-disembarking (at 0900hrs) and took a cab in front of the terminal (about 30 EUR for 1 person), I was at check-in at about 09:45hrs. I had a flight at 1300hrs. Ergo; you shouldn't worry. For other future cruisers: Keep in mind that BCN is a pretty big cruise terminal, with 4 cruise ships to dock at the same time. If you are unlucky and 4 ships disembark at the same time, you should really really book a transfer to the airport in advance. So if you are able to disembark at 0700hrs and book a transfer in advance, a 1000hrs flight departure wouldn't be a problem.
  3. Great! Thanks for the swift answers! Let's try my luck next month on the Edge ;)
  4. Hey guys, Maybe a very stupid question, but does anyone know if the cashier at the casino of Celebrity Edge accepts coins? I know from my cruise with Apex last year that the cashier accepts EUR and USD banknotes, however, I am not aware if they accept coins. As a European, I have a lot of USD-coins left from previous trips, but coins are hard to exchange in Europe. So I was wondering if I could burn some USD-coins at the cashier in exchange for some play money 🙂
