We got the advice on board to book a cabin at starbord site. Be careful where you book a cabin because of maybe noise disturbance from above because of for instance BB King club or some other music venue or a kitchen. Also consider if you want a cabin with a balcony for this trip because of the climate. It also can be an idea to book a cabin not to high on the ship and more in the middle if you are sensitive for seasickness.

We used the USD 300 for other excursion with HAL. This was my choice but ofcourse I can understand your considerations! The advantage for me was that the price difference was so big..

If I would book the excursion with HAL, it would be USD 425 and private USD 200... So a big difference...

Hello there!! Thanks very much for your pictures and story. Because I'm doing this cruise at the end of January, I'm very happy to follow you! I have a few questions. Is it handy to have pesos in Argentina or is it possible to go around with USD?? Is it handy to have some UK pounds going to the Falklands? Is there an USB port in the cabin and if so, where are they?
