  1. Anything you may need bring!

Carnival has nothing except for mashable big people food.

We have traveled with our granddaughter at age 6 months, 18 months and will be going

When she is 3 and then to Eurpoe and a TA when she is 4.

Do not forget extra diapers & wipes, and any med that could possible be needed.

  2. Please don't allow children who are not potty trained in the ship pools. Diapers of any kind do not keep the bacteria or whatever a dirty diaper has in it. Those pools don't have chlorine so that is why the cruise lines have strict rules on it. Just FYI.

    AMEN. Brother Craig

  3. Basically using miles in this way earns you about a 1% "discount." For most people who don't play the miles game to a great extent (i.e. enough to earn a ticket solely using miles), a "cashback" card is usually the best bet. There are several cards that give 2% cash back. Better to get 2% cash back and use it toward paying for your flight than earning miles that in essence only earn you 1% back. Unfortunately, most people don't understand that.

    I do!

  4. I think the number one thing to keep in mind is be flexible. Otherwise it can mean cranky child and parents/grandparents.. Also do pack enough diapers and butt cream in case they have diarrhea from changes in food and water. We purchased small blow up balls that she loved. Played with these in different places on the ship.

We have traveled with grandsons since one was 5 and the other 2. Both are platinum. Very seasoned cruisers and have become addicted to cruising. Even took them to Europe at ages 9 and 14. They loved it.

Now working on almost 3 year old granddaughter. She has 3 under her belt now.

    Be flexible and enjoy

  5. There was a very large roll call on my Breeze cruise last November. Many, many of them wanted to sit together. the dining staff had put together several long tables, in 2 rows. There were also several large round table put together....barely touching - looked like a bunch of figure 8's. I say this to say, even if there isn't a single table that will seat your 12, I feel sure if you email the Maitre D, he will probably accommodate your group. Happy sails!

Thank you for such a quick resoponse. I will email the Maitre D.

Can anyone tell me how to contact him/her

  6. Anytime. One more hint is to look early in the mornings. Travelers and agents can book and hold air seats during the day, so if they don't sell them they go back into inventory, increasing availability and dropping down to the lower rates again until those seats are sold.

Can you offer any tips on one way flights please. We will be on a TA coming back

  7. when the whole smoking debate comes up , as a twenty year ex smoker , i say to smokers . If all smokers asked those around them if their smoke was bothering them and put it out or moved when told yes . There would be no need for smoking bans and rules .
