Blessings to all of you who plan your cruise bookings, excursions, transportation, and hotel stays. I used to travel extensively for work-avg 3 flights per day and different Capitals almost every night. My TA was glorious!! Wish she hadn’t retired. But travel today dealing with AI and bots handling contact with reservations, the price changing literally in hours/minutes, and the opaque booking prices, or downright fraud/con leaves me needing to shower from what should be a transparent open process. It hasn’t gotten better with technology- hides too much of the unsavory part of corporate/human nature.

It shouldn’t be this hard for them to do the right thing the first time. No wonder we need a cruise- to relax from the stress of parenting a business we are giving thousands to.

As long as there are no effluent pipes running into the area you should be fine (sans any strong weather). the worse ear infection we ever got was snorkeling in a highly recommended, by cruising guides, snorkeling “reserve” which just happened to receive effluent run off from an Eco hotel. Proving that cotton balls soaked in H2O2 to protect one’s ears did nada. We only had antibiotics for one aboard. I opted to give them to my partner who had really bad ears. None were available on the islands pharmacies or doctors. I have a 30% hearing loss in one ear- 😎

On my booking, The TA add-ons only show on the invoice from the TA. And not the full amount the TA will add on until my final payment. Then they will send me an updated invoice.
