  1. I think you can only book for the entire cruise.
  2. We were in a suite on the Sky and it wasn't part of the suite benefits for some reason. I think it's only on certain ships.
  3. On the Sky we booked it ahead of time. It was cheaper to book before you get on the ship.
  4. How crowded is the retreat sun deck? Not as interested in the loungers in the sun but more thinking about the couch areas? What about the pool?
  5. Private car services sometimes will have a child car seat. But, I’m sorry, if you are traveling with a 1 year old you have to expect to supply your own car seat. Use a car service and know what you are getting.
  6. You mentioned that boarding was pretty fast. Do suites (Sky suites) have their own “line” in FLL to board or do we not need it? I’ll be “herding cats” (9 people) at embarkation and want to mentally prepare.
  7. Never made sense anyway. If you are drinking out of a stemmed glass what is the frozen bar for?!? 😝
  8. Thanks. On the Princess site, it still says “coming soon”.
  9. Yeah, that’s what we did. Enjoy the boat and on land, walk around town.
  10. This whole “smaller ships goes to ports the big ship can’t go to” is crap. There is nothing to do in these ports. The catamaran trips are the same company in every port and they suck. Stay on the ship, enjoy the relaxation, quiet time and self reflection. The excursion aren’t very exiting and most people come back saying they would have rather stayed on the ship or explore don’t their own. This cruise line is all about the ship and the sails.
  11. With 17636 already booked, I’m loving the the suite retreat. Now on to the “Coming Soon” space on our floor! Loving the fully new ship and the anticipation of new things!
  12. It’s the Apex on July 4th. I went to the website but didn’t know how to read it for which dock.
  13. Then I’ll buy the lobster and you cook it for me!🤪 (and I also use butter in the cooking, usually a compound butter of some sort. But I don’t just dunk my beautiful lobster meat in a bowl of melted butter). 😛
  14. I make an awesome Lobster risotto and lobster pasta and lobster roll on sour dough for the days after.
  15. If you are in Boston, sure! I’ll set up my own shore excursion where I grill up lobsters and show you all how to eat them. And there will be no drawn butter! 🤪.
  16. You eat the lobster meat as is. The flavor of lobster should be by itself. Come on, you’re from MA. Eat lobster meat as is, not drowned in butter. I’ll pick up 2 4 pound lobsters on Friday and grill them. Come over and I’ll show you how good they taste without butter. 😊
  17. You do know that they didn’t “fly” the lobster anywhere if you were eating it in NB. It was probably in the water the same day your DW ate it!! And “flown” lobster is NOT the same.
  18. Only amateurs have drawn butter on lobster. {sitting back, eating popcorn and waiting for the drama}
  19. I assume that you are talking about one of the 7 day Caribbean cruises. Princess does tend to be a much quieter clientele. But it is college spring break so you may get some of those folks. But they usually aren't interested in Princess. The nightlife will have different events in different venues but none of them should be the over the top party type.
  20. Great review! Brought me back to our New Years Eve cruise. Thank you!!
  21. My tour guide is asking at which port we will be dock for our overnight in Copenhagen on Celebrity Apex. I guess there are two.
