  1. 2. We did Royal Caribbean Freedom of the seas right before Christmas a few years back and my daughter absolutely loved it with lots of stuff for the teens to do. We do Princess because it is a older crowd. Our daughter(19 now) wouldn't have liked our last cruise but we loved it so much that we booked another cruise before we got off the ship!

  3. Thanks for all the info. Very excited to have a balcony on princess. Hope this question doesn't sound stupid, does whoever is serving dinner to us on the balcony just let themselves in your room once you have started or do you have to keep answering the door. Hope that doesn't sound crazy. Thanks

  4. ereggae...I seen the bridge and I am very interested in going through the gates and checking out the stores...please let me know more about this. There was not much in the area where the area where they want you to stay and will I have a problem getting out and in the gates? thanks and I am looking forward to your reply

  5. Dress is normal dining room attire for that night. It would only be formal if it were on formal night, and it probably won't be.

I have generally seen Chef's Table on a sea day or possibly a port day with a very early departure (on an itinerary with few sea days). However there is no way to know in advance. If you request the Chef's Table and you are selected, they will notify you of the date. If you don't want to go on that date, you can tell them and cancel.

    Thank you!!

  6. We are going to do this also and do I have to dress up for this or is it normal dinning room attire( not formal) Also we leave on a Sat. but have our 20th anniversary on that Wed. and we want to go to the specialty restaurant that night so if anyone has a clue on what night it would be please let me know....Sorry, I am not trying to steal your thread.

  7. I pray for all in the storms path as I know it sat over the islands for a very long time. But I wonder if we will still do a eastern Caribbean or they change it to western or maybe just throw in a different island like Cuba or Dominica (LOL-kidding) but that would be cool! PROBABLY TO EARLY TO TELL but Maybe we will still make Princess Cay -who knows but I hope all did well but I have been in hurricanes living on the coast in the Fl. and I know how bad this one was.

  8. I have been on 7 other cruises but never Princess so I have a few questions . We are going to be on a 7 day and the first day we are at Princess cay and the 2nd is a day at sea so which days are formals on? Also need to know which day they would do the chefs table since our 20th anniversary is one of those 7 days and we are doing a specialty restaurant that day. Thank you !

  9. With other cruise lines we have always pre cruise put money on our accounts so when we board on the ship there is already money on my sign and sail card(room card - first time on Princess so not sure what to call the card). I was wondering if princess is like other cruise lines and have the machines that you can get money off your card, or if you can go to the front desk and get money off card anytime and if you have money left over at the end of the cruise then you have a check under the door that last morning before debark? Do they have a charge for this also?

  10. My husband and I are sailing on the Emerald on Oct. 24th and a back to back on Oct. 29. We will be celebrating our 45 wedding anniversary on

Oct. 3, so this cruise is going to be very special to us. How do you set it

up. Any info would be appreciated. JDA in Jersey

We will be on the Emerald Oct 17th celebrating our 20th anniversary and I thought about surprising my wife with this.

  11. Does anyone know if the drinking package can be used on princess cay to buy alcohol drinks and is there a limit on how many drinks you can have a day(not that I plan on drinking that much but want to know) ? I know on RC you use your card to buy drinks and you also could use your drinking package on there private island. Thank you.
