  3. I stay there whenever I cruise from Miami. It is older but clean. I actually don't leave the hotel and just eat at the restaurant there. They're always willing to call a car or taxi for me the morning of the cruise. I've never had a bad experience.
  4. Does anyone remember which dining room is used on the conquest for YTD? Forward or aft? Thanks
  5. I've read the reviews on TripAdvisor and Priceline. The recent ones seem positive. But the advice here makes me think twice. Spend the little bit extra and go with what I know
  6. I usually book Holiday Inn port Miami, but was thinking about booking the Doubletree Miami Airport. It's a lot less. I don't leave the hotel, I use the hotel restaurant. Any thoughts?
  7. Last time I checked taxi was around $80 plus tip. Check into your cruise lines excursions to see if they have transfers back to the airport. Usually around $35 per person.
  8. I always book ahead. But I also will book on port days when the price is lower. The only thing is they'll charge the gratuity on the ship.
  9. Thanks. I managed to find pictures of the same pool on the Celebration and see there are ladders to the deeper pool. Only stairs for the shallow part. I guess I'll have to try out the Venezia. Too bad for me . 😆
  10. Thanks, I was hoping the new ships had them. I'm assuming the Celebration does as well.
  11. Noticed in John Heald's video of the lido pool on Venezia that it had stairs as well as ladders. I have a hard time with the ladders so the stairs were nice to see. Question though, do any other Carnival ships have stairs into their pools?
  12. Yes they do gel and they will take off the old. They call it shellac though. It's the same thing. I get it every cruise.
  13. Thanks. They are on the Meraviglia
  14. Parents are going in Jan 2023. We've never been on MSC. Should you download the app for use onboard? Thanks
  15. My fly2fun did the same thing in May. But I had no problems checking in at the airport. This was on American though. Tsa had no problem as well. You may just have to check in at the airport.
