Hi everyone, we cruised with Celebrity from Feb 4 to 14 with FLL being the departure and return point. As Canadians, upon our return to FLL, we were required to take a Covid test so we could be cleared for air travel back to YYZ.
Unfortunately, the testing company that Celebrity arranged lost my test results while my wife got her results, which meant in an additional overnight stay in FLL with costs for lodging, meals, etc. since we missed our flight. We were on the phone with the testing company 8 times that day. Nobody would tell us anything beyond that the problem had been "escalated". I still don't have those test results. I managed to get a successful test the following morning at FLL airport, and the results were emailed to me within 17 minutes.
We were advised to send all appropriate material related to costs to Celebrityengagementcenter@celebrity.com and haven't heard anything from them in several weeks. Is this normal? Is this the appropriate contact in this case? Do they typically ignore you unless you poke at them?
Thanks in advance for your nonjudgmental responses.
