  1. Finally got continue button about mid day today😊 Booked a 5 night trip to Hamburg and Cherbourg in March in the same sheltered balcony stateroom( same price as an inside cabin!) as we have booked transatlantic from New York Oct. 2022.
  2. It is not just on the US site, after choosing cabin on UK site there is no continue button either.
  3. Thanks LadyL1 for information about flights. I have booked direct with Cunard so will look into it nearer the time
  4. Thanks for all the replays, have now booked October 7th 2022 transatlantic from New York, Deck 5 sheltered balcony (5217)on starboard side. Got a £200 per person reduction for not taking their flight as we are looking to fly to Boston a couple of weeks earlier and doing the fall foliage before taking train to New York.
  5. Thanks all for replying so quickly, will get on to my travel agent today
  6. I am looking to travel on QM2 from New York to Southampton on October 7th. 2022. According to the Cunard website, there are only 2 sheltered balcony cabins left and only about half a dozen balcony cabins left. Can this really be true so far in advance?. Also I am looking to fly from UK to Boston 2 weeks before sailing. Does any one know if you can get a flight credit for flying into a different airport. Cunard's fare for UK passengers includes flights but you get no discount if you opt out of their flight.
  7. Norway's initial statement was the ports were closed for 2 weeks. We can only wait and see. My brother works in Norway but lives in Holland, he is now on one of the last flights out of the country before Norway closes its borders.
  8. My cruise to Norway is due to leave Newcastle on April 25th. Here's hoping it goes ahead.
  9. I have sailed on Columbus several times.I always have a single cabin on deck 6 midships, identical to the one in the video and yes you can have a double bed configuration. Also I can confirm there are tea/coffee making facilities in cabins. I will be on her again this Christmas and New Year.
  10. If you are on a 3 night cruise then the first and last night will probably be casual, so trousers and long sleeved shirt will be fine. Even on longer cruises on Smart casual nights, where they recommend a jacket with or without a tie, many people just wear a smart shirt.
  11. In Manage my Cruise, they will tell you when they are ready to download (including luggage labels). They say if you download them they will not send them through the post, however I downloaded tickets, for my last 3 cruises, 3 or 4 weeks before hand but still received them through the post about 2 weeks before cruise.
  12. Sorry, that your cruise was cancelled. I was on the cruise that was curtailed and, as an aside, we did not hit a sandbar but something under water while transiting the canal from Amsterdam. After a day at sea we returned to Ijmuiden at reduced speed due to possible propulsion damage (divers had already inspected the ship before given us the all clear to to sail for Norway). We were alongside at Ijmuiden from early Sunday morning until last Tuesday morning (having full use of the ships facilities) when we were transferred back to Tilbury by coach. The ship then went to Rotterdam for drydocking
  13. I have used the coach transfer several times. The coach times will be printed on your tickets. As stated, the coach usually leaves from Bay 1 or 2. where a CMV representative will check you in for the bus. Your cases are but on the bus and the next time you see them will be outside your cabin. You can ignore the check in time on your ticket as, usually, you will be able to check in as soon as the bus arrives and then straight on to the ship.
