We were at the Capri.
Probably the Capri but keep in mind at prime times 5:30 to 7:00 I would estimate less than 70% of the tables were being used. Just do not have enough servers for a full dining room. Empty tables but people were still turned away at 6:30 if they didn't have a reservation.

Enchanted Princess M510
Nice cabin , balcony cabins on Royal class are small. Below pool deck but below pizza place. Ok, little nooce from above. Close to elevators. Bathroom small, shower Ok, but not much room overall. Storage fine.

Just off the Enchanted. Precruise I booked 6:30 as it was the last time you could book to share. We were B2B and twice they moved us to another dining room with a minor change in time. Not a problem. At 6:30 most on the no reservation line were turned away. It did helf if you wanted to share a table 6 to 8.

Recently had breakfast with an elderly couple who happened to mention they had been up to the pool deck and built their nests for the day. They were not sure when they were going. I commented that they were not supposed to reserve chairs. The response was everybody does it. I then asked what they did when their children said but Mom and Dad everybody is doing it.

Normally we found they do not offer excursion on B2B until you are on the ship.

Five days before our cruise. Bid to upgrade balcony to mini suite. Bid over minimum, shows offer is still pending. Site did say cannot cancel or change. Not sure if that is good or bad.

I am glad it works for you. Cruise"s offer a wide variety of choices. We like the MDR as long as we can dine with other cruisers. The food is good but the company of others is great. We have been on over 3o cruises never had bad stablemates. To each his own.

Received pur Email for upgrade on a late January sailing. We are in a balcony below the entrance to the pool deck. Bidding on Delux balcony could put us right below pool deck in a location worse than what we have. Premium delux are aft cabins, not many of them so chances are not that great.
No choice of location in bidding.

Booked a balcony guarantee. Have not done this before for a late January cruise. When I booked balcony cabins were not available. Just got our cabin assignment on Marina deck. We are close to where it could be noisy.

We are cruising late January. Booked shared table at 6:30. Anything later was private table. But probably not same table, waiter or stablemates every night. May be able to arrange first dinner on board.

No, you will not receive a refund of your insurance.

A lot will depend on what is available. We are booked btb and of January, guaranteed balcony cabin, I guess we will see what happens.

I received an Email this morning about the new testing requirements. Not leaving until July.

It depends on what you want to order. If you want burgers, fish & chips probably not. If you want halibut, crab etc meal plan may be best
ALASKA food is not cheap. I chose the meal plan so my wife doesn't worry about cost and otfer the cheapest thing on the menu.
It is vacation.

Yes I understand that, but all those passengers aren’t on the ship any more and the ship has had a deep clean so why?
Yes, but the crew is.

Thanks, I am impressed with the number and variety of activities.

We are booked on this cruise next year. I am concerned about the number of sea days and the activities on Holland to pass the time. Lectures, bridges groups. pool,??

Thanks I missed that

There are no Role Calls for this cruise but veranda cabins are sold out. Looks like a popular cruise but no roll call.

I managed to get dining reservations at the same time each day for our 21-day Med. cruise, but there was no choice for dining room or for sharing a table--only "private table" was shown.
I am booked for July, Alaska
I could book share a table up to 6:40,anything past that time did not have share as an option.

This was the comment made by MDR staff on our current cruise as a party of 6 on the Enchanted Princess.
We had a reservations every night in the MDR at 6:20 pm. I admit to being totally skeptical as to how this would work. After our dinner last night our server said “see you tomorrow” and we concurred. Tonight when we arrived the table was taken and it took some time and internal discussions to find us another. The hostess said the server or one of us should have asked them last night to reserve last night’s table for the duration of the cruise.
After dinner I stopped at the hostess stand and asked if we could reserve tonight’s table. After consulting the computer they said no it was already assigned to others. The explanation was that “the computer assigns the tables varying the table numbers night by night and the only way to get the same table after the first night was with a 5 pm or 7 pm request and then the staff can override the computer.”
My advice: if you like your servers the first night do not leave the MDR without asking staff at the hostess stand to override your assigned tables for the rest of the cruise.
By the way, the staff were no happier with this new system than we are. I know they are vested in providing a high level of service to their passengers and that’s easier when you have a chance to learn their likes and dislikes, not to mention their names. Also, I know when we have the same servers we reward continued good service with a gratuity at the end of the cruise. That won’t happen if we only have them at one dinner.
The comment that Traditonal Dining is gone. Maybe I am wrong but traditional dining is opting for one of the 2 times for Traditional dining. Like 5:30 or 7:30.
Anytime Dining is picking your time like 6:30. Where it appears you may or may not be able to get the same table each night
