  2. I assume you're talking about the Embassy Suites in Ft. Lauderdale? If so, recommend Boatyard (formerly Bimini Boatyard) at 1555 SE 17th St (a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel). We also love Billy's Stone Crab restaurant in Hollywood, which is at least a 20-25 minute cab ride but the stone crab is worth it!

15th Street Fishery....google it. Use Uber it is less then $10.00:):)

    Great food!

  3. I do not like to beat a dead horse, but I will...

This is a post I made on another social media site, while I was on Ruby Princess last week; after we ate in Share...

"Let me start by saying we are having a fabulous cruise on the Ruby Princess. However, many people have asked about the Curtis Stone restaurant, Share. My wife and I ate there last night and found the food and presentation were spectacular. However, the service and portion sizes were far from adequate. I asked for an additional portion of the lobster entrée and I was told I would have to pay an additional fee. The portion size was SMALL and I left the restaurant feeling hungry. For a $39 cover charge per person, I did not feel it was worth it. I would not recommend this restaurant. Although other people eating in the specialty restaurant may have a opinions different from mine, what I have expressed is my experience. I eat in specialty restaurants every night on a cruise and this is one of the very few times, that I have left feeling extremely disappointed.":(

As a side note...I have NEVER had to ask for an extra piece of Lobster in the Crown Grill, because they bring you 3 or 4 tails as an order. In Share we were given 1 SMALL tail...no more, no way!

  4. I heard that they also sell these packages on the dock before you board ? Also, has anyone pre bought single restaurant , then changed at the ship to packages! Thanks

It sold on the first day of boarding and is capacity controlled. I purchased a 3 dinner package was able to upgrade when I boarded. They credited my account for the 3 dinner package and charged me for the ultimate dine package. :):)

    It was worth every penny!

  5. Although it was briefly above a $ 100 per share recently, it has been below $10 in the last 8 years. Be careful.

Yes it has...I purchased many shares at less than $7.00!:):)

BTW...they were all sold at between 60 and $80 per share...paid for many cruises and I had to combine it with nothing....:D

  6. Looks like from what I have copied below from the link posted in the previous post that the pricing is per person.

    Prices starting from:

    *225.00 USD (Adult)

    *225.00 USD (Child)

    *0.00 USD (Infant)

It is per bungalow, not per person...the RCL IT department will change the web page...so, in about 6 months it should be right!:):)

My information is from the Diamond+ C&A desk.

  7. I am also D+ on Royal and tried Princess about 5 years ago and loved it! In fairness, I have never been on a ship that I did not enjoy.

I am now Elite on Princess and I also still cruise on Royal. Both lines are very much alike in many ways and very different in others. Overall the experience on either Royal or Princess is excellent.

One word of warning about Princess....not all decks on Princess go all the way from the front to the aft. In some cases you have to go up, to go down! Takes a bit of getting used to for a Royal veteran.

    Enjoy your first Princess cruise!:):)

  8. Just another change, in the many, many changes, that Royal has made over the years that help to chase their LOYAL customers away.

It is their business and they can run it as they please (and they do). It is my money and I can spend it where I please.:):)

I still love Royal and cruise with them when it makes sense, but I stopped being LOYAL to them, when they stopped being LOYAL to me...years ago!:)
