  1. Crown Grill, no contest. You won’t be disappointed! The food quality was more consistent and it feels very elevated. And happy anniversary! There was a mix of people more casually dressed but just as many wore cocktail dresses and a sports coat on the more formal nights. And you will be glad you dressed up a little for the formal photo backgrounds which were fun. The MDR was very fun on the last night where they had a big deal of making it interactive. Make 2 reservations for Crown Grill if you can. You can always cancel one if you decide to change nights but you won’t get the opportunity to book dining there once you’re onboard. It’s booked solid. Happy cruising!
  2. Internet was AWFUL! You are right on my money. We took our first Princess Cruise recently. Just a short one to see if working remotely would be feasible so we could add future cruises to our travel plans. It was almost unbearable. Kept kicking us off. Forget about streaming anything. Couldn’t see our Ring camera feed even from port. We’d love to get back on the Discovery but they need to solve the unreliable internet issue.
  3. My parents are Ruby and got their invite before the cruise. We were full suite and had to call and practically beg lol. Be sure to check your emails for the invite. They do offer 2 seatings even on the themed cruise.
  4. Yes! The one night at sea …. Half the folks dressed 80’s theme and many others did dress nicely in cocktail attire. They had lots of ‘formal’ photo opportunities that night. I went back to my room to put on a dress. Definitely more dressy than the other nights.
