Thanks for the detailed info. I love Ho/ho buses for getting around town and cramming in as much as you can in one day. I have made note of some facts that you have answered for me.
Your photos are beautiful and as an offside, I was wondering what type of camera you used?

I haven't popped by in a while. Happy to see that everyone is still at it!
Awesome pictures as usual. :)
My hubby would love that beer. I am going to try and track down the Wootstout.
The Disney photos are beautiful. I haven't been in years, might be time for a trip there.

Nothing to post pic-wise but I just had to comment on the wonderful photos that have been posted lately. Amazing job everyone.
Dave, that photo of the babe is priceless. What beautiful birth announcements they made. Really lovely. :)

Thanks for your updates. I will be in Turkey in one week. Will come back afterward and post what, if anything, there is to report.
It seems the ships are still going in and the riots are staying mainly in the city and not around the touristy spots which are still declared safe zones so I don't predict a problem.
Happy cruising all. :)

They serve a 'tea' type buffet after the luncheon and close it around four I believe. Nothing finer than sitting up top while sailing away enjoying a tea/or drink and a slice of their tea cake which is soooo yummy.
:)
Another secret.... it was my hubby's b'day while I was cruising with girlfriends and had asked at the front desk to borrow a marker, we wanted to make a sign for hubby wishing him a happy birthday and take a photo while us girl's held up the sign in front of the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the port we were in on his special day. I explained that hubby was back home taking care of my 90 year old mother while we had a little girl time. The front desk were so accommodating and lovely, they actually let me make a phone call home to hubby that night direct from the ship. It was the moment that I became a Celebrity fan big time.

Thanks for sharing your day with us. These types of posts make me more comfortable in doing the day on our own and not feeling pressured into doing a ship's tour. We have so many tours and busy itinerary that I would like to take the day in Athens to stroll and sit at a streetside cafe. The Ho/Ho bus sounds like a great idea. :)

Tips, wonderful shuttle photos. Some for your personal history books.

Speaking of Sandy.. ..
Not a great shot but the subject is interesting.
We had rains and wind but otherwise were fine, well most of us, our neighbor one street over didn't fare so well...
A tree branch fell and took down the electrical wire which besides getting crushed, started the vehicle on fire. It was torched.

This little guy greeted us in Crown Bay, St Thomas.
LOL, "The Thinker".

Dileep, your photos are amazing and I am jealous that you are getting all of the splendor of autumn AND still having some wonderful flowering. Ours is all brown or dead.
Although after these rains and winds, it will probably be quite bare in a few days.
Cindy, lol that the butterfly pic was at the zoo. Great shot.
Sparky, those are great shots. I imagine you are at the top of your class!
Love all the fall pictures. :)

Fabulous pictures as usual gang!! :)
Out in the country for a hike on the weekend.
-
I love Pike's Place Market and especially the flower stalls. Lovely photos.
The sub shots are a little eerie. I didn't even know those things were still used except in top secret missions. :p I'd hate to be sailing and have one of those pop up in front of me.

Some really stunning photos group!!
I can't believe that you stayed around to get all of those photos of the Bobcats. I would have been out of there like a shot. Great pics.
Beautiful balloon photos. That would have been awesome to see in person.
I was out in the country pumpkin picking yesterday. Here in the city the leaves have only just begun to turn but just a few miles out, it is in all of it's splendor.

Fred, that is a beautiful shot. :)
Dileep, those Blue Angels free falling make my stomach drop. Our air show is coming up at the end of the month here in Toronto.
Shootr, love the pic with the sun glinting off the helmet.
Sharod, those shots of the aircraft are amazing. Looks like the kind of place my son's would enjoy.
Love all the pics here.
And yes, I would love that dress as well. ;) I'd have to lose half my body weight though. :D

Wocheez, great capture! :)

I love France! I was just in Nice in May (cruising of course) :D
Great pics, love the storefront and bike.

Dodger, she is adorable!! :)
I actually did get out and use my camera today. Hot as Hades here today so we went to the Bluffs and to one of my favorite areas along the water called The Guild Park where an old Inn used to stand and the eccentric owner collected and strew about his garden old artefacts. It is such a quiet and peaceful.... and cool... place to visit.

Long drive home...with a few stops.
Dave
Wow, Dave. Where was this?

Haven't posted here in ages!
Got out to a local nature conservatory today.
Andrea
These are all great but I LOVE the first one. Really lovely.

KandC, I can see how it would make a wonderful coffee table book. There were plenty of fresh linens hanging about. :p
The photo of the kids feeding the zebra is precious. :)
These weren't taken today but on the weekend while I was at the Quebec music festival.
The only fortified walled city in all of North America.
The Chateu Frontenac by night.
and by day....

Great pics as usual everyone. Particularly love the animal photos but the tiger pic is perfection.

somewhere we weren't supposed to be..... Government offices in Genoa on a Sunday. They were closed but someone left the door open. ;) These are two of my travel gal pals having a look around.
A Barbary Ape of Gibraltar, looking quite relaxed and all handsome...
-
I just love this shot. It almost looks like a painting.
Andrea
Thank you, it was taken through a double decker trolley window. :o
Dave, thanks, I saw a guy with tools as we left so it may be fixed by now. :p
Beautiful Murano glass shots. I was wondering the same thing recently at people buying the glass show designs on our Celebrity cruise. They were not delivered home to them, I saw people walking off the ship with them wrapped up.
Sparky, great shot of the eagle. They are such a majestic bird.

Pisa Italy.
I got out and used my camera today...

You never cease to amaze me with all of your wonderful photography and images.
The great subjects, (willing or not!), those lucky 'captured the moment" shots (TheRoff, that one is incredible), and all the nature photos always delight me. I come back every so often just to see what's new and I am never disappointed.
Thank you all. :)
