  1. I can't open them either, nor in the other thread. Is there something that we should be doing? or can someone open them and attach opened please? Thanks
  2. Thanks Lynnmarv1. Would you have any photos of the ship? We are going on the Revolution cruise out of Baltimore. Mainly because my husband loves history. Have you done this cruise? I am a little worried that I will be bored. Any suggestions? Thanks
  3. I am surprised that did not do anything to help the situation other than sympathizing. Were you offered anything in compensation? Do you have other photos of the ship? Would love to see her.
  4. I would love to hear this type of review. Sail next January and although we are not in the Haven we will be spending a lot of time in the casino. Information on type of slots, minimum antes at the tables and what's hot would be wonderful.
  5. Hi Dave, Thanks for the information on the laundry service. If you could provide a review of the Constitution and your impressions I would find that very helpful. This will be our first time on a river cruise and any and all information and tips would be very appreciated.
  6. The entrance is the main entrance to the theatre. We met the cabin steward on Day 1 and talked about our preferences for cleaning and turndown. He was the best. Though he may not have been around all we had to do was give him a call and he responded. I would recommend making that interaction when you first meet. And the casino is not opened on the port days.
  7. We have stayed in this cabin and it was wonderful. We never experienced any smoke smell nor a lot of noise. It is very convenient to the theatre and the casino yet is in it's own little hallway so there is no traffic at all other than for those 4 cabins. If I ever get a chance to sail the Dawn again I would book this cabin!!!! Enjoy
  8. Thanks Mike for the confirmation. I couldn't find anything on the deck plans I saw on the website. Have you been on the Constitution?
  9. Thanks for the information. Thought of one additional question - is there a self laundry area on the ship? or do they offer laundry services?
  10. Hi, My husband and I (mid 60s) are experienced ocean cruisers but have booked our first river cruise for next spring on the Constitution. I am hoping that those of you with more experience can answer some of the questions we have. Some may be very basic but I am having difficulty in finding answers. First we are booked on the Revolution cruise out of Baltimore. The website lists excursions for each stop but not with details such as cost and time. When and / or how do I get more information on the excursions so that I can start to plan for each port? Second, I have read that the average age is usually an older crowd, does that mean similar to us or even older? Patience is not my husbands greatest characteristic so I want to prepare him for a slow pace. and lastly, with much fewer passengers than on our previous cruises do you rate the 1:1 service that much better than the ocean cruise lines? If anyone has any pictures of the Constitution I would also love to see her details. Thanks Donna
  11. Spirit that bad? We have scheduled a Spirit flight Boston to Ft Lauderdale in January the day before the cruise, should I be worried?
  12. Hi, We will be sailing on the Bliss next month and was wondering what the dining venue options are for the Platinum Plus Specialty Dining Offer? I thought that I had heard that they were different than the options on other NCL ships. Thanks :)
  13. Thank-you for the information. It was great to hear! Did you feel any more movement from having a cabin near the front of the ship?
  14. Hi, We have booked cabin 6508 for our upcoming cruise. I was hoping that others who have had one of these 4 cabins on deck 6 could let me know their experiences. Was the cabin smokey from the casino? Could you hear a lot of noise from both the casino and the theatre? Were the cabin stewards attentive? Since there are only 4 I was wondering if they tended to forget about these? Any information / photos would be great. Thanks
