Not sure if you can make it on line in advance, but when the concierge contacts you the week before, just let them know what times you would like. We ate there the first night, and then twice more based on the menu. Never had an issue booking once on board. The main dining room (we had MTD) was a zoo...so I would recommend either a specialty of CK. For breakfast, either Johnnie Rockets or CK is your best bet. They do have lunch there on sea days, but we never went. Try to get Lovely for your server....she is wonderful! Also, the bar server Timea is a blast....have fun!

Thank you everyone! Looks like I will look at classes other than Oasis for a little while...

Hi All!
Just made D+ (realistically the highest level we will ever reach)...Benefits section of C+A page says that level includes access to the Concierge Lounge and special seating areas of ice rink, theater, pool decks, etc. My question is whether that now means the same as having a suite (Gold Card) on the ship. Reason I ask is that our most recent cruise on Allure was in a suite, and they seemed pretty adamant that only "Gold Cards" could access those areas?

So the people in the inside cabins don't deserve the same level of treatment as the people in the $12,000 suites???
Hate to sound elitist, but no, they don't. The people in those suites clearly pay more than their room is worth....in essence, they subsidize some of the better priced accommodations. They also pay higher automatic tips than the other staterooms. They expect, and deserve, a higher level of service. They paid for it.

I believe you stated that you were sailing in 2017. If that is the case, there is a whole new set of suite perks that apply to you....pretty good ones like drink packages, a genie, etc. Check them out...if that is the case, you definitely want your parents in the suite with you because they can take better advantage of those perks than the children. Also, it negates the concerns over the suite lounge, as the biggest benefit to that space from 5-8 is the open bar. With the drink package, its open bar all day, everywhere!!

I wonder if they gave a credit to people who pre-paid for a drink package?

We brought a beautiful bouquet from Pike's Market in Seattle. Even found a collapsable plastic vase to put them in!

Can people be reported to RCCL for poor spelling and punctuation?

We took Radiance out of Seattle in September. We are Diamond members and when we checked in at the port, the line for Diamonds was much longer than the "regular" line to check in. The attendant would not allow us into the regular line, even though we tried to explain. She said, "you are Diamond, you stay in that line". Has that ever happened to anyone else?

Sorry...what is an SWMBO???

You need to contact the Crown and Anchor desk. As a D+ doing a B2B they should assist you. In my opinion, that is definitely NOT an upgrade.

My Alaska cruise and all the remaining Alaska cruises for the summer are literally "sold out"...and those are not cheap!

Thank you clarea!

Hello!
Booked in a GS in December and wondering about the new Concierge area. I have read varying reports that state that complimentary drinks are available all day/evening. Others say only during the 5-8 cocktail time? Also, is breakfast and lunch available in CK or just dinner? TIA!

That is good news! Thank you

I read on an older thread today that anyone on the ship is allowed into the Sun Suite Deck to smoke cigars. Please tell me this has changed since that old thread! I would hate to think that I finally saved up enough money to book a suite only to have the special sun deck smell like a giant ashtray! If it is still allowed, has anyone been to the one on Allure lately and was the smoke a problem? Thanks!

I finally save up enough money to get a suite on Allure, only to find that the suite sun deck doubles as a cigar smoking area for everyone on the ship....thats a bright idea RCCL!

Thanks everyone. It was my intention to contact Expedia and get a later flight....I just wanted to know how early was safe from SEA. In any case, after much back and forth, I ended up with a 12:45 PM flight. I figure that is a safe time and might even allow me to take advantage of Luggage Valet. Thanks again.

Hi All:
Booked on RCCL Jewel out of Seattle for Sept 2015. Expedia just informed us that our return flight has been changed from 3:30P to 9:10A. That is obviously too early, but what is the earliest time we can safely book a flight after disembarking Jewel in Seattle....TIA!

Good morning!
Alaska cruise in September....just informed by Expedia that they have changed my return flight from 3:30p to 9:10a. Obviously that is too early, but can anyone out there tell me what would be the earliest I can fly out of Seattle after disembarking the ship? TIA---You guys are the best!

Not sure why you are "fed up" with RCI, but having sailed on both, IMHO there is little difference except that Celebrity has a somewhat more mature clientele and less bells and whistles (and announcements and activities). If you are looking for an appreciable upgrade from RCI in terms of food or service, I am afraid you may be disappointed. If you are seeking peace and quiet (and fewer children), you may be happy. Just my 2 cents....

Maybe someone should start a "pet friendly" cruise ship.....bet it would sell out fast. However I would not want to be a cabin steward on that one! Clean the toilet and change the litter? No thanks! Maybe that's where they threaten to send stewards who misbehave? They could call the ship Noah's Ark!;)

Curious....When the Concierge calls, what number comes up on the caller ID?
I believe it was an 1-877 number

Leaving in a couple of weeks for Connie and booked a Sky Suite. Concierge just reached out because we had opted for Select Dining and part of the the main dining room is under construction due to the pending addition of Luminae. Anyway, she did not want us to be inconvenienced by potential wait times, so she offered to allow us to eat, no charge, in the specialty restaurants all week....sorry for the inconvenience...LOL! Sweet!!!! She gave us the dining times we wanted,d refunded what I had already paid for TG, and was so nice! DH is excited.....
Is a Jr. Suite worth 3k more on oasis class ships?

For my recent trip on Allure, we paid $3300 for a Grande Suite for 2 people...so for me, nope!
