I am usually a Carnival cruiser. On Carnival, there are two beach towels in your cabin on the first day. They are replaced whenever you want them to be. So, on the Oasis, I will get my tiwels from a towel hut. Do I have to return it there in order to get a clean one each time?

Will be first time RCCI cruiser in April, on Oasis. I got the email offering BOGO device. Grabbed it for myself and friend for $105 for 7 days.

So, one person said the 5th night. The other says the 6th night. Does anyone know for sure?

I have quite a bit of OBC for my upcoming cruise. The RC website doesn't mention the casino when it explains where you can use it on the ship. Please tell me it can be used in the casino as that was my main reason for getting it!

We just booked the Westin Dawn Beach for our St Maartin day in April. Could you tell me how long it takes to get back to the ship in the afternoon? Our ship leaves at 5. Also, are there any decent shops to browse through within a short walk of the ships?

I had known about the flat rate taxi fares in Miami, which is why I posted. The woman who greeted everyone when we got out of Customs had inflated prices and lied about the taxi fares. Someone who did not know the facts would go with her, to avoid the fabricated cab fares.

When exiting the Carnival terminal at Port of Miami today, after a cruise, myself and other passengers were all greeted by a woman who was offering shuttle transportation to MIA. Her exact words were: "We charge a standard fare of $37. The taxis are metered and you will pay alot more!" This is a total lie and a ripoff! There is a set rate for taxi's to charge. It is $27 if you use a credit card and $24 if you pay in cash.

Could someone tell me when they do the tour of Central Park? I assume it is on a sea day? It will be one of the highlights of my cruise.

What a great way to start a cruise!

One member of our party (physically fit, 60's) has an artificaial hip. She wants to do the zipline on Oasis in the Spring but is concerned that the harness may be too constrictive around the hips. She will not go parasailing because of the sling type seat. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

We scored with two weeks remaining! Keep checking.

Did you do the Key West/Cozumel itinerary? How often did they have bingo?

I have never been to Key West but feel that it is probably a great place to find shell jewelry. Will be there in late October as quick cruise port. I am looking for a necklace with a single sand dollar on it, or something similar. Does anyone know if there is a store where I might find something like this?

I just booked the snorkeling, never thinking that it was from a boat! Does anyone know if they have a ladder to get into and off of the boat? I don't think I would be able to do it otherwise!

Thank you both for your replies. I didn't even know there was a beach walk! Now that I have looked it up, the south part of south beach seems perfect for us. I am researching hotels at the moment.

We are a quiet, older couple, arriving in Miami at 3pm the day before cruise in October. Would like to be able to have nice (moderately priced) dinner and a place to walk near our hotel the night before cruise. (Park, beach, etc) Also, a CVS or Walgreens and breakfast place nearby for morning.

I have had my eye on a 12 day cruise on the Star, out of Copenhagen, to Amsterdam, Ireland, Scotland and England, hoping to have it be by Spring of 2017 trip. I am shocked to see that the Star will be doing entirely different itineraries. I can not find a single cruise listed for my desired itinerary or anything close to it, after September 2015. Does anyone know if NCL is planning to replace it with another ship? I am so disappointed!

I am considering booking a cove balcony for the transatlantic sailing of the Vista.

Having never done a TA before, I am wondering if the ocean might be too rough for such a low deck? Any thoughts?
