  1. Living on Long Island, I have been to many Broadway plays. Although musicals are definitely my favorite, I never managed to get to see CATS! The sole reason why my friend and I booked the Oasis over the Allure was to see that show! Reading all of these negative reviews (although we both tend to have very different opinions from the critics of most movies and shows) has been very disheartening. So I have ordered the book by T.S Elliott and the dvd version of the original Broadway play. I am sure that by familiarizing ourselves with the lesser known of the songs and the show itself, we will both love seeing it in person on the Oasis! At least I hope so! It couldn't possibly be as bad as these people are saying, knowing its award and longevity history!

  2. Hello! I hope you have a great trip. Are you on the Haiti route or the St. Thomas route? Could you do me a huge favor? I have booked a stateroom very close to the rear of Central Park on deck 8 and am dying to see what the entrance to CP from there looks. On the ship deck plans, it appears to be a solid wall, with no entry to CP. I have been assured (on Cruise Critic) that there is direct access to CP but would love a description or photo! Thank you, in advance, if you feel like looking into this for me.

  3. Hi,

Thanks for a great review. I am booked in the cabin next to yours, 8664. I booked it purposefully because of its proximity to Central Park and the elevators. But, after booking I noticed, from the deck plans, it looks like a solid wall separates the rooms from Central Park. I am sure that is not true, but could you explain? Is it an open entrance into CP? Are there doors? You don't have a picture, do you?

  4. I hear what all these seasoned RC passengers are saying but have to add my two cents. I had a D1 cabin on deck 8 booked on the Oasis for a cruise last year (September 2013) and we had to cancel it. In January, I rebooked the same room for an April 2016 cruise for a savings of more than $400 per person. So, I am very happy with the BOGO.

  5. When I booked our Oasis cruise, 15 months in advance, I was told that late dining was already full. There was room in MTD and early seating (too early for us). I found it really strange that most staterooms seemed to still be available, yet my preferred dining option was full. We are cruising on a non-holiday week, in the middle of April.
