DAY 7 At Sea
What?!? I though this review was over… well I am sorry it took so long for me to post the final day on this wonderful cruise. Had so much stuff going on, …yada…yada…yada…blah…blah….blah… OK so now you know why, so here goes..
Tip for today: Really read over the Compass!. I just noticed when looking at day seven just now that there was a Backstage tour of the of the Opal theater!. I would have loved to do that, but did not notice it when I just glanced at the Compass when I was on board. And use “The Planner” which is a day by day schedule of things going on the Oasis, but not as detailed as the daily Compass.
It’s a SALE, SALE, SALE, day on day 7.
Almost every retail store, OK EVERY RETAIL store has a sale on day 7. Some of the stores even have the sign that I always look for when I am shopping in my favorite stores, 50-75% OFF!. The Royal Promenade looked like Sawgrass Outlet Mall, here in South Florida, on day seven. There are T-shirts for $10, Invicta, Citizen, Casio, Fossil watches for up to 70% off, you name it, it was on sale. So I rushed up to the future cruise sales office to see if that was 50% off, but I am sorry to say, no it was not, oh well. Some of the sales did not start until 1 PM, so there were lines outside of the stores waiting for the sale to begin, did you see me waiting in one of them?
SO today I did some shopping, walking around the ship one more time and did a double lunch having to finish the cruise with my two favorites, Roast Beef at Park Café, and Tutti Salad in the MDR. For dinner we once again went to 150 Central Park to enjoy the second menu. Both menus were a great experience but I liked the 1st one a little better. (sorry no food porn again).
We packed up our suitcase and left it out when we went for dinner. Used our carry-on for the last items needed for the night and the next morning. We had a nice breakfast before we left the Oasis on Saturday morning.
Some final pictures
PROUD PAPA WITH HIS GIRLS BEFORE DINNER
SOLARIUM
ST. THOMAS HARBOR (had some fun playing with contrast and saturation with this picture)
ZIP LINE AND BASKETBALL ON THE OASIS
RISING TIDE BAR
FOLIAGE OF CENTRAL PARK

The pics from the All Access tour were amazing as were all of your pics! Well done!
Thanks so much for your post. Glad you liked the pictures!! Sometime I get lucky taking a picture.
Thanks for posting your review. Enjoyed reading it on this Good Friday with nothing to do at work. Why do they make us come in on Fridays before a holiday? Everybody surfing the net. LOL!!Now to go and find your Allure review to help me knock out this last 1 1/2 hours. LOL!!
Yes, I worked on Good Friday as well, but was a little busy. Glad I was able to keep you amused for the day!
Usually close the office for the afternoon, but had to much work to finish. Thanks for reading the review. Hope you found the Allure review

I just booked the Oasis for May 24, but every Comedy Live show is booked for the whole week. Has anyone ever had luck getting in by waiting in a non-reservation line outside the theater door? If so, how early did you get into line?
you should be able to get into a show. I would get there about 30 min before show time. The let in the waiting line in 10 minutes before the show is scheduled to start.

Allure of the Seas in Aug :-)
Thanks so much for reading and enjoying the review, and the props on the pictures.
I use a Nikon D7100 with an 18-200 telephoto lens, no filters on any pictures except for the zoom shot and I used a Neutral Density filter (ND) to slow down the shutter speed.
BTW, I did an Allure review from our trip last year... allure 1-6-13 with pictures
You will LOVE the Allure, Enjoy your cruise!!

Great review. Have sailed the Allure once' date=' but first time on Oasis this May 10. One question, who's the Cruise Director on the Oasis?
Thanks,[/quote']
Hi Croozin' nut
Love your name! Thanks for reading my review and posting. Our Cruise Director was Drew Devine
Caneguy:Thank you for your wonderful review.
Where do you sign up for the ATT airtime you mentioned?
Go Canes!(class of 71)
Hi Ginopingoly,
I called ATT and told them I was on the Oasis. Got set up with ATT rep and had it set up for billing just when I was on the Oasis. Real easy.
They have it for most RCC ships
GO CANES!!

It is only a 10-15 min taxi ride from FLL to the port (maybe even shorter time) so you should have plenty of time I would think you can board until 4:30 to 5PM
-
I've never sailed this ship nor do I have plans to in the near future.....but have read the whole review today from beginning to end because it was so well done! Kudos!
SoundDawg,
WOW!! Thanks so much for reading the review and this great compliment.
The ship is wonderful maybe one day you will take a cruise on the Oasis or Allure.

Phenomenal review and pictures! I have a million and one things I need to do -- like unpack from my cruise last week and get the laundry done, but since I very unexpectedly booked the Oasis for Nov. 29th, I find myself engrossed in CC!
I'm obsessed with getting two spaces on the All Access tour...good to know it's available on-line before the cruise.
Hi Cindy,
glad you liked the review. When you do your pre-cruise planning, go to "onboard activities" and the All Access Tour should be listed there. Oh, and don't feel to bad about being engrossed in CC, I am also always reading threads to get ideas..

Great review!! I loved the boardwalk pics and of course all the food!!

Hi Sunlovers,

Thanks for reading the review and posting.

we ate at 150 twice enjoying both menus. They made changes for my wife and our friend, they do not eat meat. I posted the menu from the first part of the week and will post the menu from the second in a few days on my review. Click on the link below. Both meals were wonderful!

Yes that carousel picture is stunning. You ask that we state which photo is our favourite. They are all so good, that it's hard to pick just one.
Thanks so much!!!!

THANK YOU so much!! I found out the best way to take a good picture is to take about 1000 and maybe you get a few good ones!
Have a great time on your cruise
He is really excited about his internship! Thanks for reading the review and posting. You will love the Oasis! This was our 3rd time on an Oasis class ship and there are still things I did not get to do on the ship, there is so many activities.
