Can someone tell me how long the Early Booking Bonus for Alaska 2025 will be available? I would like to wait until my cruise next month to book onboard for whatever promotion they have (OBC and $100 deposit), but I don't want to lose the Early Booking Bonus. Thanks.

I spent three weeks in cabin I-1111, inside, on Main deck Rotterdam, and it was huge. Would book that one again in a heartbeat.

What hotel are you referring to?
Sorry. I was referring to the Cedarbrook Lodge (from Jeromep post above mine. I should have quoted.

We’re staying there in a few weeks. If you sign up for their Copperleaf loyalty program, you get a $20 coupon to use in their restaurant ( within 45 days ).
I stayed there years ago and it was really nice. The price is no worse than downtown. Total including tax $325. -
About seven years ago, we had an offer to move from a seven day Regal ( or maybe Royal ) Princess 7 day R/T NYC New England cruise with inside cabin to a 10 day Quebec to NYC in a balcony, and Princess was willing to refund our cruise and throw in the difference in airfare. Couldn’t take advantage because of work schedule, but it was a very nice offer. I always wondered what someone was willing to pay for an inside cabin that Princess would make money on the swap.

I’m on a HAL Hawaiian cruise r/t Vancouver next spring and looking to book flights. Do the ships arriving from Hawaii ( 5 days at sea ) generally make it to Vancouver at the scheduled time (7:00 AM)?

I canceled a Holland America cruise last week ( pet in the hospital ). I had their CFAR platinum insurance, and got 90% of my cruise cost back on my credit card within 24 hours. No forms to complete. I just called HAL to cancel.

We’ve stayed at the Harbor 360 several times. Nice view.
We’re staying at the Gateway Hotel next week, so I’ll let you know how that goes.
Years ago we stayed at the B&B Resurrection Lodge on the Bay outside of town. It was very nice, but rustic and remote. You would need a car. -
Have you tried the Park Connection Bus?

OTOH,😊 I love the glacier cruise out of Whittier so much that I once did it twice in one weekend from Anchorage via the railroad. At the time, there were two vendors. ( One had a newer boat, the other better food.) Anyway, we saw loads of otters, sea lions, and kittiwakes along with all 26 glaciers. Smooth sailing all the way.
On a bad day, if you get seasick, the Kenai Fjords trip is miserable once you get out of Resurrection Bay. Seriously, the company will tell you if they expect rough water, and if they offer you a refund, take it. -
The kayak tour and hiking tour were a lot of fun.

Hotel Tourville in the 7th.......easy walk to Invalid, Champs de Mar, Eiffel Tour. Quiet very upscale neighborhood, plenty of bakeries, restaurants on Rue Cler. Between two metro stops that connect to the rest of Paris. 10 minutes to St. Germaine and shopping......very Parisienne.

Thank you for posting. I just made reservations for our river cruise in the fall.

I have strayed at both the Marriott and AC at Dania Pointe several times. They are both very nice and I would stay there again.

I think Skagway is the better port for hiking, and Ketchikan has more opportunities for totem poles and native Alaskan history.
The “Rainforest Hike” in Ketchikan that the cruiseline sells is really just a stroll through the forest with quick stops to see a totem pole and caged reindeer and raptors, so not really a hike, but it is a nice way to spend the morning. I thought it was geared more to kids and seniors.
Just FYI, for hikes in Ketchikan https://www.alltrails.com/lists/ketchikan-ak

I did the exact same itinerary on Celebrity Millennium in 2022.

If you stay near the cruise port or FLL, a cab will be cheap to the port. It's a hop skip. We stayed at Hyatt House Fort Lauderdale South and Cruise Port. When you walk in the door there is a kiosk to sign up for the shuttle. I can't remember the price, but it was about the same as a cab. We liked the area and have stayed there twice now. There is good food within a block or two.
I’m staying here tomorrow. Can you tell me if I have to call for their shuttle, or are they continually making the loop from the hotel? Long wait? Thanks.

I’ve done this trip more than five times with HAL and Princess, and I’m booked again for May. Very nice.

I have always wanted to visit Antarctica, but stories about the storms of Drake Passage scare me to death. 30 ft waves?!
Anyway, I am considering the “Fly the Drake” cruise with Lindblad.
“Get a head start on your Antarctica experience by flying across the Drake Passage from Puerto Natales to King George Island, landing at the Chilean research station which permanently operates there.”
So my question is if the winds/weather are bad at sea ( Drake Passage), would that not make flying really turbulent, too? Thanks.
