Yes I agree, thats one of reasons I booked April 12 on the Epic and now they are say they will not be on Epic in April

We drive Gainesville to Miami for cruises, with no problem. But the Fog is a very good point. We have been delayed by fog in Tampa, on a February cruise

Go Granny, DW and I just got off of aft balcony on the Getaway last week, I actually am thinking of taking myself on the Epic before it leaves for Europe. Then I could try out the Studio's !! Got my income tax refund money

We just got back from a week on the Getaway in our first aft cabin and loved it, every about it was great. Off the boat in 30 minutes when we got to Miami. Make me want to take my income tax money and go on the Epic before it leaves for Europe.

we just got back from Getaway today, aft balcony 11314. It was awesome. We were able to see fireworks from balcony on port side. It's a great ship. We had a wonderful time

just got back today from a cruise on the Getaway. We had an aft balcony, 11314. It was awesome. Room was a little tight getting by the bed and wall, but not a big deal. The balcony was awesome compared to a regular side balcony. it was 500$ more at first and a little to much for us, but the price came down to 132$ PP and we could swing that. Overall we really enjoyed everything on the Getaway. We actually did not get to do everything that we wanted to do. but it was a great cruise

We will be in Nassau next week on the Getaway. What is the best or easyist way to get to Atlantis from the port. Boat Ferry? Taxi? Bus? We just wanted to walk around Atlantis some and then come back. What is the cost of the taxi or ferry?

I have never cruised out of Miami. Will they let you put a luggage tag on a case of water and check it in with your luggage?

Can't wait to see it. We will be leaving next Saturday. I love the Miami skyline

Ok thanks. Last behind the scenes I did was on on a Carnival ship and it was pretty cool.

Does anyone know if they offer a behind the scenes tour on the getaway. we did one on a carnival ship and they took us thru the kitchen and dowe where all the food is stored. We saw part of engine room and where the crew lives.

Bernard's Tours is in st Maarten, we are booked on feb 10 off the getaway

The tour is awesome. But I would definetly stick with the cruise line excursion. You will be 2 hours away from port and if you on a private excursion, no guarantee the ship will wait for you. The ruins are awesome
