You'd be surprised how easily the package is met. It's really only four or five drinks.

I agree, especially if you are drinking mixed drinks versus beer/wine.
6 drinks a day and you would more or less break even with the Premium package.
for me this is no brainer on RC since I can purchase it and my wife does not have to, on other lines it makes less sense because I would have to drink enough for both of us to break even.
I know this isnt really the answer or tip you were looking for but figured i'd share.

I recently saw a bar list for the UBP, but am wondering about the open bar on the Sky. Gonna do a girls birthday cruise and need to find out if specific beer and drinks are included. Thanks for your help!!

I just went into my Vacation Summary and it doesn't show all of the OBC that we purchased. But, I have the email confirmations showing the full amounts.
If there is a discrepancy, are the email confirmations what I need to show proof of purchase? Or should I call NCL and have them fix this under MyNCL / Vacation Summary?
I should have $350, and it shows $50.
My MIL should have $325, and it shows $25.
Is the $50 and $25 promotional OBC or purchased? I dont recall if purchased OBC shows up there.

Hello all,
Has anyone been on the Norwegian Sky since it has been all inclusive and gone to Great Stirrup Cay? I was wondering if the all inclusive extends to drinks on the island like the UBP does?
Thanks!
It does.

Although i haven't done any yet, i will be scoping on my 3 upcoming sailings this year!

That would explain why were woken up by loud people in the hallways at 2am every morning.
I was implying 1:45 am was early lol, usually the clubs on cruise ships close down around 3 or so depending on how happening it is.
:)

My brother just got off the NCL Sky this morning. He mentioned that the club closed each night at 1:45 AM. Is this now standard on the Sky since she turned over to all inclusive or is this something put in place during the spring break time of year?

Yea, that was answered an hour ago in the post before yours. ;)
Thanks for clarifying that.....
that person posted a link, with nothing else. didn't quote the original question at all

Well now I'm getting concerned...
I have booked a beach day at the Colonial Hilton and was planning to walk from the pier there with my wife and young daughter, since it appears to be quite close. Am I better off taking a cab?
No need to be concerned. The CH is an easy walk from the pier.
Have been there a couple times and walked passed it many other times on the way to Junkanoo beach. Last December my wife, 20 month old daughter, and i all walked from the port to Junkanoo.
As I mentioned in an earlier post I have been to nassau 14 times and have never felt unsafe. Sure there will be vendors trying to offer and sell you things right when you get off the ship, but 80% of the cruise ports are like that. Just have a plan of where you are going and say no thank you to the offers and keep walking.

IMPORTANT: ITINERARY CHANGE INFORMATION
In an effort to allow more guests the opportunity to sail Norwegian Escape's 7-Day Eastern Caribbean itineraries from Miami, we have changed her scheduled Miami departure time from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This change will allow guests later flight options for arriving in Miami and will apply to all 7-Day Eastern Caribbean sailings from May 7 - December 31, 2016. Guests continue to be invited to board the ship at their regularly scheduled times and begin enjoying all the exciting amenities Norwegian Escape has to offer.
Guests booked on the affected sailings need to be aware of this change and as a courtesy we are sending them a notification today.

I have been to Nassau 14 times, i still enjoy going there, even if nothing more than hitting up Jankanoo Beach and stopping at Fat Tuesdays and Senor Frogs, i still manage to have fun.
Are there pushy people outside the port trying to sell you things? Yes. Just need to say no thank you and keep moving.
I have never felt unsafe any time I have been there.

It is now being reported on the not to be mentioned site escape group as well. I'm assuming getting everything updated on the website will take time. Time will tell.
-Matt

I wonder if that has any affect on the time we're allowed to board?
It shouldn't. We just had a 8 pm departure and arrived normal time.
-
Really? First I've heard. Where'd you hear this?

I just heard the Escape has changed its departure time from 4pm to 7pm all sailings May-December this year, anyone know why?
Thanks

Hello!
We are typical Disney cruisers but my husband and I are planning on doing a 3 day just the two of us.
Our 3 choices are:
1)RCL Enchantment (Orlando, Nassau, Cococay)
2) RCL Majesty (Miami, Nassau, Cococay)
3) NCL Sky (Miami, Nassau, Great Stirrup)
All are similar prices.
Which would you recommend and why?
Sky will be all inclusive so booze will be included. can be a big factor.
I would knock Majesty off the list first and then base the next elimination on my above statement.

It is for four of us (we are bringing the kids). Just received an email from Carnival, not only did they credit me the difference, they beat it by $50. That was fast!
Sorry i priced it for 2.
So Carnival's price must have been better than what you paid as well.
Glad you got it sorted!

Matt - August 13th - Balcony Cat 8D (room 9222 to be exact). There is a $333 difference in this price and the early saver I paid. Also Expedia would have given me $300 OBC.
I see a total of $2,675 for an 8D on that sailing on both Carnival and Expedia, i see Expedia would give you $100 obc based on cruise price if you use a mastercard to pay for the cruise.
Make sure you always go to the end, when got to the first pricing screen on expeida they werent including the taxes and govt fees.

Does CCL Price Protection work when you find a better price on Expedia? We are cruising on the Splendor in August and I just found a much better deal for the same room category as I have.
In theory the prices should not be different where ever you look. The cruise lines dictate the pricing. One exception to this would be if an agency had group space on a sailing.
What dates and category are you looking at? I'd be curious to see if there is in fact a big difference.

I recently realized that I haven't had my passport in my possession since a cruise 4 years ago. I did email Carnival lost & found, but it may take up to a week to hear from them. Any ideas on what may have happened to it if left after all this time? I will have to go through the whole process and fees again, so- just trying to avoid that- if possible. Thanks
Wouldn't you have used it going through customs after the cruise?

Dry dock dates 2/6/2016- 2/20/2016
Excerpt:
Prior to its deployment to Mobile, the 2,056-passenger Carnival Fantasy will undergo a multi-million-dollar refurbishment that will add several elements of the cruise line's popular Fun Ship 2.0 product enhancement program, including Guy's Burger Joint, developed in tandem with Food Network star*Guy Fieri, two poolside watering holes, the RedFrog Rum Bar and BlueIguana Tequila Bar, and the BlueIguana Cantina Mexican-themed eatery.
Those dates are correct however the statement is a little misleading, it will be complete prior to its stint in Miami(prior to going to Mobile).
