I'm spoiled with having a balcony and able to step outside anytime. That's the best way to deal with motion uneasy feeling for me. We live in MO so I totally understand how weather can fluctuate. Thanks for the comments

We will be cruising in Jan out of Galveston and wanted to know how the weather tends to be and also how is the "motion of the ocean". We have a family oceanview cabin on the Magic and I am use to having a balcony and I am really getting nervous. Those cabins are on the bottom of the ship. We have 5 passengers and that was the only option other than two cabins.
