I heard no complaints about the little tree (~24 inches tall) that I packed in my luggage and set up in our stateroom. Came to less than $14 on Amazon w/delivery but batteries were not included.

Just off Rotterdam, no lobster on the complimentary menu (but available with an up charge). Echoing @jimbob22 though, that they were using a lot of expensive ingredients (e.g., lots of nice cuts of beef, lamb, larger "jumbo" shrimp, and crab cakes) such that I was surprised to not see lobster on one of the holiday gala menus (we had 3 gala nights: sea day 1, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day). I found the buffet menu to be relatively repetitive, but the quality of the food in both the buffet and MDR were all solid and I'm not convinced the missing lobster tails is a major cost saver when I look at the other ingredients they were using. I don't know the lobster market though... maybe it's just scarce right now, like the escargot shortage from 5 or so years back. <shrug>

I bought a cheapo little 2-foot tree on Amazon.com for $13.81 with delivery. I'll try to remember to post back how it goes. I figured if they confiscate it, I won't be too sad. And DW already thought it was an adorable idea, so I already get partial credit just for the attempt. 🙂 Packing it back home after it comes out of the box will be the biggest challenge IMHO.

Where do you find the tree option? I'm logged in but don't see it as an option. TIA! EDIT - Found it, trees was under flowers.
