Absolutely, call special needs at Celebrity. The issue is not getting the 50' to the terminal but long lines and distance to the ship. A wheelchair will bypass most of the line to check in.
Thanks. Didnt know there was a special needs department. Now the trick will be finding their number. If anyone has an easy way to reach them...please post.

Lest you think we are normally suite people, this is the second time in 33 cruises that we have had a suite. It is not our norm and I don’t have any VIP expectations. I simply am comparing my experience to previous cruises post Covid. If I came across as entitled that was not my intent nor my expectation.Thank you so much for your honest info. We have a saying..."ya pays your money and ya gets tortured". Suites or not...no one should be subjected to standing in the hot florida sun waiting to go on vacation. It's almost impossible to show up on the dot when people are flying or driving to the port. It's obvious that celebrity is short of personnel. Thanks again.

I misread your post. I thought you were referring to the shops in Costa Maya.
To me, Tiffany is always way overpriced, on the ship, in Chicago, in NYC, etc. Ask a female and she’ll tell you their quality supports their prices. I really don’t know. I think ALL jewelry is overpriced regardless of where it’s sold. There’s just no way to compare apples to apples with jewelry. Jewelers have given me a magnifying loop to look at their wares. I still fon’t know what I’m looking at, and I doubt 99% of us wouldn’t either.
i know what my GF likes. I’ll spend the money to get it for her because I care for her and she deserves it. That’s all I know!
Any $10 souvenier tee shirts? Last time we were onboard...2 years ago...the gift shops on board were crazy outrageous. Nobody in them unless desperate.

We are elite plus and will be on the Edge in August. In the past there has been no need for a liquor package but with the new pricing we now have a classic package. Any suggestions as to what to order? Is Baileys included? We used to order sidecars from the Captains club menu. Are non alcoholic drinks included? Any tasty info will be appreciated by these 2 Classic newbies.

There will be. IMO it will not be self serve (long over due) when cruising first resumes.
We agree. Long overdue.

We were also on that cruise and didn’t see anything like that in the Sky Lounge.
Never saw anything like that. We loved sitting at the bar watching the liquor show.

Save yourself the trip and money. Just stop by the Oceanview Cafe. Endless selections for building your own snacks. 🤣
Who knows if there will be a cafe..maybe food on cryo sealed trays with robots in hazmat suits.

I'll still be in the Sky Lounge having a drink, stop by and have a drink with me.
We will. I'm sure we've been in the Sky lounge with you before.

Elite, elite+ and Zenith still have other perks to take advantage of besides the 2 hour CC HH and 2 hour unlimited CC HH drinks and limited free WiFi. The Sky Lounge will still be open for your enjoyment. Bring your own snack.

Oh that is so funny. I'll be sure to stop at Costco before boarding

Now that we all must purchase a liquor package...what does Celebrity have in store to make Elite Plus special? We are not big drinkers and looked forward to the cocktail hour. Loved the lounge...oh well, things change. But there has to be a loyalty incentive.

Looking forward to seeing Princess publish new itineraries. What will happen to transatlantics and some Caribbean sailings...and colonial America? Those ships have to be used for something.

Tried booking a summer 2021 sailing...none of which were available. Does anyone know what's going on?
-
Yes. June 6 2020 sailing. Received last week.

We will be in Kotor in a couple of weeks. Our first time. What did you do? Ship questions..what time are the shows and is the international cafe still wonderful? Any word about seating in the showroom? Before I close, thank you so much for sharing. This is such a wonderful treat and definitely heightening our expectations. Regards.

Thank you do much for all your info. Just two things, if possible. Are the public areas and dining rooms cold??? And, is there adequate seating in the theater? Does one really have to get there an hour before? Again, thanks.

We popped on and off a few times without the slightest delay....on the promenade deck, one medallion reader. I did hear one older lady kvetch, but it was about how far she had to walk to get off the ship. What did she expect, to be plopped down right in front of her tour bus!?
It WAS a long walk and then thru a souvenir tent. Some day you may "kvetch."

So, other than the pool deck...where can we sit to enjoy the ocean, in the shade, at no additional charge? It's there a promenade deck?

Can anyone tell us exactly what are the assigned dining times on the Majesty? We can't seem to get the accurate times to help us decide between early and late dining. We will be sailing out of Fort Lauderdale in November. Thanks

Are there any places near the port to buy magnets and small stuff? We're thinking of taking a tour that has no shopping in the itinerary, but want to buy some trinkets.

Going on a cruise ship to Havana. Anyone know if the boats that go regularly also exchange dollars for Cuc?
-
Does anyone know if the hoho bus takes dollars or euros? It would make it so much easier than exchanging money. Thanks:).
-
Here are maps of the Hop On Hop Off bus routes. T1 is the City route for 10 CUC and T3 is the beach route for 5 CUC.

Does the hoho bus take US dollars? And, is there really 42 steps up from the cruise terminal to the street. We have some limited mobility? Thanks so much.

On other Princess ships we have enjoyed lunch in the dining room at the start of our cruise. Can anyone tell us if dining room lunch is available on the Pacific Princess at embarkation?

Was this Costa maya? Wish they had a golf cart shuttle or something like that. The last time we were on the Edge the public rooms were freezing in the evening. How are they now? Thanks.
