I got the same call this afternoon. It SOUNDED like Royal Caribbean but when I questioned them, they said it was ROYAL CRUISE LINE..........so I said I wasn't interested and hung up. Went to google it and it is not something I would ever be interested in.

That's a nice bag. Wish I was Platinum.......gonna take me a little longer now that they changed the rules in the middle of the game. :(

Well miracles and good PVP's still happen. As I am in the process of posting this, he is moving our sail date to Febuary as I requested with no pentilies or fees. I do have trip insurance, in fact it's the same insurance underwriters that Carnival uses. My medical condition would be considered "pre-existing" so the insurance wont really help. I'm really happy with what he's done for us.

So sorry that you won't be cruising in January......and very sorry that you are still not "up to speed" following surgery...:(.. But very happy that you are able to re-book for February and I really hope you are feeling much, much better by then.......AND that you won't lose any money on the switch! That's excellent news!

I will still be keeping a good thought for your recovery!:)

We have a roll call going.....c'mon over and sign up with us. I think it is a very nice group of people going......nice mix of ages and interests.

The Fort Lauderdale Tourism Department has an excellent website that includes a list of hotels noting whether they have shuttles and day rooms (based on availability): http://www.sunny.org/travel-trade/pr...otel-shuttles/. I would start there and make inquiries directly to the hotels listed. There is lots of other useful information on that site.

Just got notice from airline that our return flight home has been pushed back to 7:30pm. So looking for somewhere to spend day in Fort Lauderdale once we leave ship. Any thoughts or suggestions? Will be Saturday November 30th. Thanks for your help.

Yes, PLEASE! Hope someone has some suggestions. We are also looking for a 'day room' if available. We are "mobility challenged" so we can't rent a car and go sightseeing or even take a tour to somewhere. We have heard that there are hotels that offer rates for day-time hours. Our flight does not leave until 8:20 pm..... L-O-N-G time to sit in the airport....especially the FLL airport with nothing to do!:o

I loved reading all these suggestions. We are going to be in Key West in January on the Freedom. Hoping for pleasant weather. I was there a few years ago in late May and Oh My Goodness! ....the heat and humidity was really something! Had to cut my walking trip short. I really hope that it will be better in January. :p

My daughter and granddaughter left right behind you on the RHAPSODY heading to Hawaii. Heard from them via facebook today that the sea is rough and my daughter is green. Sure hope it gets better for them. (She tends to get motion sickness very easily and was nervous about taking this trip.)
