The Ben & Jerry Sweet is stateroom 6305 on Freedom, Liberty, and Indy. Same price as other PR category staterooms.
Thanks. Maybe sometime!:D

Thank you all for the encouraging replies. I was really concerned.
Now, CamaCama, can you enlighten me about the B&J Suite? How early did you have to book to snag that goodie? It would definitely not be a good thing for me:eek:, but the concept is intriguing. As I understand it, it does not come at a higher price. When I was booking this, the RCI agent did not know which cabin was the B&J Suite.
Thanks.
Kathy
Sorry for the duplicate post. I left my computer and came back to what looked like an unsent message. So, of course, I sent it!

A++ for effort, F- for execution for making people have to look at a picture of me. ;)
Thanks for the vid though, was fun trying to spot myself. Think I did in 2 other spots.
I think I saw the two of you at minute 4 on this video:
As look at the picture above, I see it is the same one.You are famous!!

I'm wondering what the noise level is on the Indy for deck 7 promenade cabins? Especially for those who go to bed at an early hour?
Thanks.

Thank you for this review. My first cruise is in April on the Pride.
You made me more excited than ever to go!!!
Another Cruise Critic newbie. Welcome.
Viscus, your great review is bringing them out of the woodwork!!:)
Happy sails to all. Kathy

The place we went do did also offer zip lining along with all the animal interactions, but I cannot remember the place's name, and none listed ring a bell (although it could be one of them, I just can't remember).
As crewsweeper said, the easiest way to find it is to book a Victor Bodden tour and request the $10pp one instead of the $5pp one. He might also just tell you if you email him, I don't know.
From your description, it must have been Vic Bodden's personal little attraction. I had a group signed up with him and then had to cancel myself out, so I missed it.

What a fabulous review. Love your attitude!!!
We are on the Pride for the first time since 2.0 for the March 15 repositioning. I can't wait.
Welcome to Cruise Critic, Lisa. My friend and I will be on the repositioning cruise as well. Pop in on our crazy roll call and get a warm welcome.

Have to wait until tomorrow to finish this, but I don't want to miss it. We'll be on this ship in September.
Great review, and beautiful family. Hope you show one with Dad and all three of his girls.:)

And see, you seemed like such a nice person until you said this. :P
You got me!!!
And tell us you're feeling better.

And with that, I bid you all adieu. I've actually fallen asleep twice tonight typing this out, this hydrocodone syrup ain't no laughing matter. But! We're officially halfway done with the cruise review! Hopefully, I can stay home from work tomorrow and finish this bad boy off, plus, you know, rest and get rid of this illness. But you all are my priority! ;)
G'nite!
Hope you feel a lot better. Perhaps tomorrow (which is now today) will be a snow day for you.:D

And winter has been INSANE in Atlanta, we've had to wear our coats on a lot of days. COATS!!!1! It got down to like 35 degrees! So chilly!
;)
You seemed like such a nice person until you said this. Cruel to so many people.
Here in South Carolina we woke up to snow and a dead city (you know how that goes in the South). My pipes have frozen three times. But I realize we are the lucky ones.
Oh, well, in 25 days we'll be on the Pride.:D

My throne room for the day. With a cabana, you get the bed with the canopy and a double table with an umbrella, set up about 50 feet from the ocean on the beach. Great set-up if you can get one. Good for you - you saved a lot of $$$)
This is where we ran into our first island bird. These guys were a blast, had to keep an eye on your food or you'd be down a bird sized bite of food. They are very unselfish, though - they will usually leave you something in return!
Keep it coming. Thanks.

Thank you for your hard work in doing this review. It is excellent, and very helpful to those of us who will be new to this ship.

Also liked the MDR is open for lunch on embarkation day
I was just going to hop on board here and mention this. That's a BIG PLUS in my book.
Big minus: No traditional dining, which I love. Other lines have a choice of traditional or freestyle. Some say NCL does freestyle better than any of the others, but I dislike all of it.
Another big plus (if I remember correctly) is that you can stash your hand luggage in a room upon embarkation until your cabin is available. Do they still do that?
Happy sails. Any cruise is a good one.:)

On another note, I saw posted on John Heald's Facebook page that if the bed is worn out to notify guest services or your room steward and they will remedy that situation. I shall try this if the beds aren't very good.
This brings up an important point.
When something is wrong, we need to report it, not just complain about it. The room stewards don't lie down on your bed (hopefully;) and don't know if the mattress is not just right. Some things that are broken are obvious; some are not
When I was on my recent Serenade of the Seas cruise, there was one computer panel (that gives menus, etc.) that was not working. After the second day, I reported this and it was immediately fixed. That is the sort of repair that is not obvious to the maintenance people.
Happy sails.

because the library was the same location as the internet cafe, it was open 24-7 and as such, all the cabinets were open that I saw. That said, I did not make notice of the particular selections and would suggest you bring a backup or two should there not be something to your liking :)
Thanks. I always bring at least one and then donate it, but this is such a long cruise that I will need lots of good reading.

Question about the library:
Did you use it much? Was it well-stocked? and were the shelves open at all times? (Some ships lock them up.)
Just wondering how many books I need to take with me.

Carnival Fantasy cruises out of Charleston, SC which is an extremely convenient port for us.
We would not fly or drive a long distance to cruise on a Fantasy Class ship.
LuLu
Good point, LuLu. I love my Fantasy cruises and the convenience to port; however, like you, I would not go a long distance to go on her when I could go on a newer ship. I was surprised on my last cruise to chat with new cruisers who had flown from Canada (!) to Charleston for the Fantasy. Why not go a little farther down the coast?

Very nice. Thank you.

I think I will do another on our next cruise and I welcome ideas for improvement.
Look forward to it. I have only one suggestion: At the very beginning show a picture of you and Annie. We saw the lovely Annie, but it helps to see who is writing the review.:)

thanks so much ! if you have any questions on things I may have missed from pictures, let me know and I will answer as best I can :)
I have a question about that awesome slide. I'm 75, but I plan to be on it (more than once!).
Can you remember what hours it is open? What about port days? Is there always a long line?
Thanks.

Differences between Carnival and Royal Caribbean
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted
We loved our Freedom of the Seas cruise, and all of our Carnival cruises (none of the bigger ships) have been great. No complaints about either line. I do think RCCL has prettier ships, but then I haven't been on the newest of the Carnival line.
Hope you get some answers that are more helpful.
Happy sails.
