For about $15 more over a 5 year period we got Global Entry which includes Customs.
I would love to do that. But I can't find a location close to me that does them.

With the way the world has become now, none of this bothers me or my husband. I would rather be safe than sorry. Yes, it may take a little longer to get through security, but that's OK by me.
I agree.

In the US Virgin Islands, the sailboats can only take 6 passengers. When we went there were two other couples. Children are also welcomed. I think it is $150 per adult, $140 if paid in cash. You will have to taxi to Red Hook but that is a good way to see some of the island.
That was the price for ours. We only had 5. My wife and I and a 3-way from another ship. You can book the whole boat for $900. But max of 6 people. You will not be disappointed. Food was excellent. And really cool swimming with the turtles.

Carambola is probably what you are looking for. Check out my full review, listed in my signature line, and there's tons of pictures that include that strip of beach from Carambola to Discovery Beach (which seems to be very relaxing and not a lot of people when we were there) and down to Ship wreck.
Thank you. I have read many of your reviews in the past and they were very helpful. I'll look for the St. Kitts one.

XT Fit CPAP by APEX. Currently sells for $209.00 with free shipping. When I bought it, it was $189.00 plus shipping, so I guess about the same price. Google it for web-pages.
I suppose you know how to program it with all the doctor prescribed settings. Many people also have bi-paps, which are much more expensive. But they use the word CPAP universally.
I suggest caution when buying complicated required medical equipment without going through your doctor.

Going to be on St. Lucia in June and looking for a nice relaxing beach to just hang out on. Things we are hoping for: Shade, economical food and drinks, nice water and sand, relaxing environment. Anybody have any good suggestions?

If you are willing to risk having to listen to snoring the whole cruise and willing to risk the health of the wearer, go ahead and check it in you luggage. If your shirts don't make it, go to the gift shop and buy new ones. If you machine doesn't make it, you are out of luck. Luggage gets lost every day.

They also make everyone on the bus wait for 20 minutes after the all back on the bus time while they finish their ice cream. Grrrrr.
Had this happen in St. Maarten and caused us to miss seeing the big plane at Maho. We were furious.

I did it just to put my final payment on it. I applied and it took a week to approve. 1 day after final payment. Wish I had not applied.

I usually get to port early checkin, grab some lunch and head out at about 12:30-1:30. One year a missed the muster drill, which was not a bad thing. They give you abbreviated version later in the week, no lines with very few people.
So you actually ate lunch onboard and then got off the ship and went back to town?

You think I could get a drink and a bottled water at the same time with just 1 card?

While it was on my planner I was able to click on terms & conditions and it stated good until November 2016
I saw that date from last year as well when I just purchased ours. Seemed weird, but I just assumed it was a typo. I'd hate to be the employee that screwed up.

Some parents will abuse the situation and use the lifeguarded pools as daycare. My wife was a lifeguard at a city pool for several years. She has stories of parents dropping their very young children off in the morning and picking up in the evening all summer long. Nobody with any authority would do anything about it.

Does anybody have any experience of purchasing liqueur in the terminal before boarding Adventure? Curious how often it is confiscated. Not really wanting a discussion of right and wrong. Just examples of experience.

We'll be on AOS in June for daughter's senior trip. Curious if there are big showers in the gym area to utilize instead of the tiny cabin showers.

Just looking for any kind of tips or advice on cruising while being in a wheelchair. We have cruised many times, but this time, my 17 year old daughter is going to be in a wheelchair. We are cruising on the Dream next month out of New Orleans. Flying in on American Airlines. Just curious if anybody has anything that we need to take into consideration for this trip. We have already contacted the special assistance department for Carnival and for American. But with the vast amount of knowledge and experience here on CC, I thought I would fish for ideas.

Is it correct to assume that with so many on this list, a week long cruise will actually only show 4 or 5 of these maybe?

I had this problem trying to order a $100 card. The way I fixed it is I went to my credit card account online and temporarily changed my billing address to match my physical shipping address instead of my P.O. Box. Ordered the card using this physical address and received them. Now I'll go back and change my credit card address back. If you have a P.O. Box, you can usually use this format and the post office will deliver it right: Physical address followed by "Box #" such as 1234 Mockingbird Lane Box 20, Atlanta, GA
