Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. The email for our booking says our booking includes it, but... you are right. When you log in it says it doesn't, nice...
  2. We are booked "after" the changeover, but our invoice is the price before. Figured we would be on "plan a", aka Princess plus 50, and they would track the two based on people's prior comments. Now this week in our emails about our cruise, it mentioned our benefits with the new plan like the desserts and $15. So with this email "specifically about our booking" and our existing invoice that didn't change, I wonder if they are just grandfathering everyone in to prevent customer a relations disaster when they roll out the highly likely drink price increases (probably a 25% hit to make $12 go to $15)?
  3. Oh yeah, the tip surcharge. Not to mention wine glass pours were pretty small on Discovery for our last cruise, just like the smaller martini glasses.
  4. Not sure what you said in the also sentence is true. Those 3 glasses will cost you a separate $3 up charge, so $9. Isn't that still less then converting?
  5. That is always the case. On Celebrity, the beer allocation was very small for their standard package, and even most standard martinis were usually a $2 or so upcharge. I noticed on our last Princess cruise they used quite smaller martini glasses that a normal one in a bar. So there is that method also, smaller glasses or more ice 😉
  6. I would assume you could ask for OBC if they do charge your account. I would think guest services would do it to avoid bad sentiments. Overall I am hoping it is $0, but that wording definitely gives wiggle room to charge...
