Had to call Celebrity this morning around 11:00am and waited maybe three minutes. Got right to an agent and my situation was resolved. Maybe they're listening or I got lucky?????

We've travelled RCI/Celebrity enought to be diamond but have never had dinner at Chop's. I have a few questions.
- What do you think of it?
- Is it worth it? (We are used to going on Celebrity and sometimes do go to their specialty restaurants. Our favorite is the Lawn Club Grill.)
-Does RCI ever offer discounts if it's not busy?
We're going on the Enchantment and are thinking about it the night we're in Nassau.
Thanks,

Go for the balcony. It is worth it. However, once spoiled you may never go back to an OV. Have been on the Silhouette. Great ship and crew.

Andy,
Noticed that in response to the question about cost the memo states:
"Pricing varies according to treatment /service.Canyon Ranch Spa will offer a more enhanced and exclusive menu of services."
Guess that means we'll have to dig deeper into our pockets $$ for treatments. Then again it might be worth it if they live up to their reputation.

Yes, some of the music is too loud, but you can get away from it to quiet areas. The disco is one thing, but the shows are way too loud(Silhouette Jan 19-26). We don't go anymore and miss it. The problem is people do not realise the damage that is being done to their ears by the extreme volume. The process is insidious much like the sun and skin cancer. You don't know it's happening until it's too late and you have hearing loss or worse, tinnitus. I would love for and audiologist to weigh in on this subject. .

We were on the Meridian for a repositioning cruise from San Juan to Fort Lauderdale. As you all say, she had great service and food, but our cabin was a closet. We didn't care. We enjoyed the ship. I am so glad I took a video of all the public rooms on that ship. She was beautifully redone since her days as the Gallileo. Don't think she would be up to date with today's regulations and it would have probably been too costly to renovate her. Love to watch our old video and relive a great trip. That was trip #4 for us on Celebrity. We're now up to 24. Guess you could say we liked it.

Don't know if you were able to see last night's episode, but it ended with Gibbs sending Ziva and Tony to Rome to look for the Mossad killer of her father. Should be interesting. It's my favorite show on TV.

We're booked on the Connie after she has the AQ cabins added to the stern upper deck. We are currently booked in one of the AQ2 cabins, 9043, which is a corner cabin with a larger veranda. Should we stay there or does anyone know if we are better off taking one of the new cabins? If yes, where is a good location in the rear AQ cabins. What is your opinion. Thanks for the info.......:)

Although I did not have any experience with the Aqua class handicapped cabins, I was able to look inside one and what I can tell you is that they are the size of suite!

Hey Celebrity !!! Loud Music Does NOT Equal Younger Demographic
in Celebrity Cruises
Posted
I have brought this up before that loud is bad. Bad? How? Simple, it slowly destroys your hearing without you even being aware of it. It is an insidious process much like the sun and skin cancer. You don't know it's bad until you find out what has happened to your skin. In this case your hearing is slowly being trashed. The next thing you know is that you are looking for hearing aids. They are a lousy and expensive substitute for good hearing.
The worst case of the effects of loud music is tinnitus which is known as the "steel whistle from hell" inside your head. I know because I have tinnitus as a result of listening to music that was too loud. It is a bitter pill to swallow. I wish I had turned it down a long time ago because now I am paying the price. YOU DO NOT WANT TINNITUS!
For all you non believers, just ask any audiologist or ENT doctor or check http://www.ata.org. It is the website for the American Tinnitus Association.
Celebrity, TURN IT DOWN!
