this sounds to me like a clever (or deceitful) way to market NCL premium air, or whatever it's called.

did they offer you a customized choice of carriers and seats and routing, as well, or did they simply say this was to confirm flights, which were rapidly booking up?

perhaps you have an over zealous PCC... or NCL might be trying something new. (horrible and new) to sell premium air arrangements, without calling it that.

This isn’t premium air, they can’t help, it’s a way to lock in the flights they gave me.  Even with the fee, it’s not even guaranteed.  Makes no sense.  They r trying to dangle these flights saying we could end up with 1 stop, instead of a non stop.

  2. It’s still 122 days, but this seems to be unique to those who took the Bogo air promo.  We were offered round trip flights and were told we could lock them in and get our info 100 days prior instead of 30.  Since the return flights late, it’s not worth it to us to add $300.  Maybe it’s new.

  3. I know we’ve discussed the bogo many times, but I didn’t expect that for the first time, I was offered 2 flights for May whete the flight home is late and they want $300 just to secure these flights.  When did this start?  They offer the flights by the 100 day mark, but it seems quite ridiculous to me and it’s not even 100% guaranteed!  Has anyone who took bogo get economy seats where they could still book seats or did u pay to upgrade? Thx for any info

  4. Hi everyone!  Booked and paid for my May cruise to Alaska, on the Encore.  Now that I received an email stating new reservations get double points on my cruise and since I am sooo close to Sapphire, thought maybe I could cancel/rebook without penalty since it’s 125 days till my cruise?  Is this possible?  Thx

  5. Hi everyone!  Now that we r finally booked on the Encore, I took the free flight only leaving NYC to Seattle.   Before I let NCL book our flight home,  Id love to hear from anyone who has let NCL choose their flight from  west to east coast.  maybe theres some earlier flights, I know its a guessing game.  thx for any info

MY understanding is that depending on how many people sign up for the program it could be either at the solarium Bistro or a closed off part of the Windjammer.  That will be determined at a later date.

As for the pizza they will NEVER eat pizza from Sorento as whole shop is very very unkosher.  They might have had pizza as part of the Fresh Kosher package, and you might have seen them walking around the Promenade with it.

The kosher program is capped off at 3-450 depending on ship size only in Bistro.  The pizza served in Sorrentos during these weeks is kosher from a separate oven.

We did not call in Vancouver on this trip.

In general, shore ex run as soon as ships get into port. The Birds had later shore ex in Skagway and Ketchikan returning to the ship just before all aboard time. In Juneau, The Birds just did the tram on our own time. For that, the lines for the tram were nearly an hour long when we got out there.

    sorry I meant Victoria, BC

YES, Holiday cruises are always packed.  There should be lots of multi-generaltional families.

There will be lots of football (blank screen during the commericals), lots of noise of course.  Traditional dinner in the MDR's-- probably more food than you want.

I love Thanksgiving and Christmas cruises but a lot of people to not.

    Thx!
