I have never seen the "advantage" of the Book Later program (well other than the advantage to Celebrity). If unsure of a future sailing I just make a refundable book now booking for something as far out as possible (more than a year). Then when I select a sailing I want to take I just move the reservation. At that point I can determine what rate refundable/non to take. No 6 month limit on the OBC or lose the deposit if you haven't selected a sailing in 12 months.

I have the brochure for the Book Now/Later program as I just received my documents for my June sailing. I looked at the T&C and was very surprised to see that Book Later is restricted to non-refundable.
Book Now Program reservations can be made at non-refundable or refundable deposit fares; Book Later Program reservations require non-refundable deposit fares.

If you are selecting a group booking with your TA they deposit has always had to be increased to a full deposit but the onboard booking obc bonus has been retained. Doesn't matter if it's a book now or book later reservation.
-
I believe they require purchase within 14 days of first deposit for any pre-existing condition coverage. Even then I believe the condition must be stable or won't be covered.

If the passenger can cancel for a covered reason with insurance they need to Cancel with Celebrity before sailing or their claim will be rejected. I believe some if not most policies will cover any increase for a solo supplement for the remaining passenger. If insurance is involved you should be consulting with them.

There's probably very few Pinnacles I would like to see in a bikini😀 Zeniths either. I guess they are more similar than I thought 😀

Only time I have seen a few people wearing pins is to the Zenith lunch. Even then it's < 20%.
Zenith's achieving status via status match won't have pins as " Zenith milestone kits" are excluded from the match benefits.

Does anyone know if the luggage tags have Zenith printed on them? The reason that I ask is that I received an e-mail from the Retreat Concierge asking how many pieces of luggage we had. I checked our tags and they just show Captain's Club.
TIA
No boarding tags don't have CC status on them.

We only had a couple of 8-10 week breaks in our travel schedule so sent ours for renewal in April. We expedited everything just to make sure we had no issues. We mailed on Friday and had notification that it had been processed the following Friday and received express mail on Monday so about 10 days. Were very pleased.

I generally check my Xpress pass a week before the sailing. If it doesn't have PALL I call and get them to add the complimentary packages.

How do they plan to tell the difference between a Zenith who earned it by sailing with Celebrity and a Zenith who earned it through the status match?
Nobody knows the method right now but you can be sure there will be a distinction.

Right. That's what I read.

I hope the crew makes a fortune in tips for this event.

Did you find having a concierge provided much benefit over just using the app? Just trying to validate my impression from reviews I've read. Although I think there is a dedicated number you can call to speak to them, it sounds like they only greet you and possibly show up to tell you goodbye and remind you to do your survey. One seemed to indicate they are going to redirect you to your cabin steward in most instances.
Everyone (all cabin types) have access to the concierge so that's really not a big deal.

I agree they are smaller than RS and I guess now priced less as well. When introduced they were positioned above RS I guess for the reason they were exclusive with the private hallway with the Reflection suite and were priced above RS. I know they haven't historically sold as well as Royals and I guess they now sell for less.
I went to the Ships section on the Celebrity site and looked at retreat accommodations which are typically listed in order top to bottom. For Reflection they list Reflection , Signature, Penthouse, Royal, Celebrity, Aqua, Sky.
It doesn't really matter. The question was about inclusions and yes Signature suites are considered a top suite and get's all the inclusions of a RS.

Oh gotcha! Sorry, I was confused but yes, I think Signature is lower but it gets the included specialty dining and bottles of liquor so I just wondered. We are in the Signature suite in July so I guess we will find out.
Signature suites are above Royal Suite and below PH so yes get specialty dining, liquor and laundry.

I had put bids for 5 categories of Suites, 30 days ago. I am presently in Aqua. My sailing date is 18th June. Immediately upon bidding, 4 bids expired and my bid for the sky suite has been pending ever since. I can neither modify nor cancel the pending bid. Is this normal ? and is this as per the terms ?
Have you checked your room assignment online to make sure it's not been changed. Or your credit card to see if you have been charged. It seems like you have probably won the Sky Suite but the system can be confusing. I wouldn't just depend on an email informing you of a successful bid.

My question is really not cruise related so I hoped I don't get in trouble for posting this. I planned get to Amsterdam 3 days before my cruise starts. I booked my flight with 1 connection in DFW. The connection was supposed to be a 90 minutes stopover in DFW. Now, it's been changed to a 34 minutes stopover. I'm really worried I won't make the connection in DFW. I booked the flights through Iberia Air which partners with American Air. I tried calling American Air. I had no luck as the wait time is over "8 hours" to talk to an agent. Also I booked a non-refundable flight. Should I be worried? Please no negative comments. I'm worried enough. Thank you!
If you booked through Iberia you should call them. They should have access to the AA flights to make an adjustment. I wouldn't think 34 min would be a legal connection time since the door closes 15 minutes prior to departure time.
Even with a non refundable fare they should make the change for no charge.
I wouldn't believe the 8 hr wait time. I'd just put it on speaker and wait while doing something else.

And the red/white/bubbly wines in the Retreat Lounge and in-suite.

Sort of off topic, can a booking be changed to AI after the original booking? Not AI originally…we have an SV and are looking to convert it to AI..no current SV’s showing on our cruise on Ascent..Jan 2026.
not booked as a guarantee originally..
Yes but at prevailing price and promo. Maybe even has to be before final payment. I think Celebrity would have to be called to find out the prevailing rate as I don't think TA's can see that data on sold out categories.

^^^ This ^^^ It's 30 days.

Future Cruise and Refundable Deposits?
in Celebrity Cruises
Posted · Edited by wrk2cruise
To me the only reason to do a Book Later is if you are buying it for someone else as they allow all the names on the reservation to be changed. And then they have to accept the non refundable deposit aspect.
