If you do a google search for easy oragami money many more will come up, some with videos that are really easy to follow. :)

I usually tip extra, in cash....but for something fun I like to do oragami with the bills (do them at home prior to the cruise).

The crew love them, and you can make them with any denomiation of bill.

I've never read or heard of being able to transfer points from another program (ie other loyalty program) but you can transfer from one BoA card to another - Dh and I have multiple NCL cards because in the "good ol' days" you had a $1000 max you could earn a year - now there's no limit but it takes you three times as much spending anyway, I degress - you can transfer from one card to another but you have to redeem those points within 90 days or lose them.

I attempted to do a point transfer from one BOA card to another earlier this year and they would only do it in certain increments....I think it was 2500 points. Do you know if they are still doing it this way??? We have 6 cards in total, from the past program with it's limits.

Sorry, I do believe Randon said he was going to be back on the Gem again in August. No word on the Spirit yet.

Well, I guess we won't be seeing him for awhile then. I'm sure we will find someone to entertain us on the Spirit....:D:D:D Maybe I'll get Steve to pack one of his guitars. :)

I wish you could join us for the Spirit cruise, but I know your DD still has a few more years of school for you to cruise around on school breaks.

We enjoyed listening to Randon play the guitar on several of our GEM cruises and wonder if he's still on the GEM, or another NCL ship? :confused:

In talking with him I know he really wanted to go back to the SPIRIT....and I'm hoping he might be there next week for our cruise. :)

Seems like I'm always "GIDDY", since we seem to keep 3 -4 cruises booked at all times. :D:D:D

Next cruise is less than 2 weeks away.....and I've been packed and ready since we got off the ship in Feb and did the laundry, and re-packed. :)

We have been able to get cash at the casino (and it was charged to our onboard account-and offset by existing onboard credit). I believe there may be some daily limit though

I believe the daily limit is $2,000 per cabin. No fees as of January 2010....hopefully they won't mess with this. :)

I notice that BoA allows you to transfer points between accts. if you have more than one. I put in some numbers to see what the cost was since the fine print says costs may apply and it showed $0 but I don't trust

BoA. Anybody else done this and actually gotten it for $0?

I've transferred points twice, between accounts and haven't had any cost/fee to do so. You can't transfer odd amounts of points, is the only drawback I've found.
