those stories all appear now, many of us had no idea she was like that, I trusted her, me and my husband we even became friends with her and her husband. People were alone that time, there is no way to fight her when you are all alone, the Greenland cruise is something else, she made a huge mistake thinking we would all take it for granted. ' She got many chances to undo what she did but she refused and at a certain point she was unreachable.

At that time so the time of her selling tours for the whole season of the Pride in Europe, her rules were : everything was refundable in case you could find someone taking your spot, so in case of Belkin they did what she told everyone to do on her FB, " find someone who is taking your spot and she would refund the money " so she never paid them back, sad stories like were not shared in public, I would never have bought any tour with her. About fraud : what she did, and still does, she has money paid for a tour or a hotel, person cancels and has to file with the insurance company and hopefully get the money refunded she will sell the tour or hotel room to someone else and collects 2 times the amount, very clever, but she has never paid any income tax because she simply had no business in Canada ( she collected the money through a bank account in the US ) Believe me she had so many angry customers and vendors after the Greenland cruise that some of us started to investigate her business, we found out that she was not bonded she was not registered anywhere and had no insurance. Her income for many years was huge : one example her Greenland tours 2 ports for one of the ports the costs was 185 usd pp she had more or less 400 people doing her tour and she bought the tour for 60 usd pp ( I called with the Greenland vendor) but she never paid the vendor ( we never got there, remember ) and kept the money from everyone and said to file with the insurance company ......In my country we call that fraud. The other tour she got refunded less 5 usdpp also for that one her advise was to collect the money from the insurance.

Everything that could be done has been done. Being from other countries doesn't make it easy, I am from Belgium and most of our group is from the US, she is from Canada and she had an account under a friend's name in the US so that way she could avoid paying taxes. Her businesses went down from posting tours for all Europe to just one cruise coming up in oktober. We hope to get her out of business completely but I guess she will keep on doing it as long as Carnival allows it. And yes they know about her actions, she practically lives on a Carnival Cruise ship, and is honoured every week for having the most cruise days at sea. I saw her a couple of weeks ago enjoying her cruise life playing in the casino as nothing is going on.

payments are from last year some of the year before because they were all related to the Greenland cruise on the Legend in September, my payment was from april 2023 but as I said I got the refund in January this year, a lot of the passengers have tried more than once to file for a refund which all got denied.

there is much more information now, is it possible to try to put in your claim again ? you will find a detailed and very sufficient article on consumer rescue.org afther that the storty exploded cruise mummy, la lido loco, semiprocruiser.com, cruise hive, doug parker, cruise radio are all talking about her scam even John Heald answered how sorry he felt about what happened. surely if you send the information from consumer rescue.org they cannot unsee what is going on. I am not sure if the moderator of CC will allow this post, you can reach out for help if you need.

Yes I did, back then we only knew a few things and what happened on the Greenland cruise but now when people started digging we learned a lot more about her so called business. for ex. I called the Greenland excursion bureau and some other people in Greenland and I found out she never paid the vendor so she kept everyone's money. For the other excursion she did get the money back less a small amount pp Another person of our growing FB group started digging on herself and learned that she has no licence no insurance and she is not bonded you take a high risk booking with her. This all caused people a lot of money but also time and pain. We just want to warn people that she is under investigation so you take a high risk doing business with her. Side note:I got my money back because I won my CC claim a lot of us have never seen any dime or lost their claim.

I am one of her victims to and she is still selling excursions for the Carnival Panorama october 12th 2024 please warn everyone who is on that cruise not to buy a hotel package of an excursions, things might go wrong and you end up with loosing a lot of money. There are several videos on youtube telling this story this is one of them also you can read https://cruiseradio.net/tour-operator-leaves-carnival-cruise-passengers-without-refunds-after-cancellation/?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTAAAR1Wv-8nkOPjG9jSgELClltldkfnQiM7ke2QFiIqyebrhxbeM9mrTtiNPIE_aem_LANfMxVRwE-gnpSqPKi5Hg

Carnival excursions booked through the website Sandras Cruise Tours do not buy them! Buyer beware: do not buy any excursions from sandras cruise tours There is a large group of 800 people who booked Greenland tours there, which were billed as REFUNDABLE if the ship didn’t port. The Legend didn’t port and we didn’t get our money back. Please be very careful. The vendor Sandra Oleary did change her terms of agreement after these tours were cancelled and kept money a vendor in Greenland did return her the money of one of these excursions money she kept for herself. She advised people to claim their insurance which is fraude. And no there was no option booking tours with carnival directly as they announced when this cruise was published there would not be any tour to book through Carnval. I can send proof of everything I wrote in this message so I hope I can safe people from the same situation we are in now. Please I do not want to offend anyone and hope this post is not inappropriate. Thank you.

Cape Liberty, New Jersey Cruise Terminal
fvandewouwer replied to fvandewouwer's topic in East Coast Departures
At this moment we find the service of carmel very tempting, price is really not that bad compared to a combination of bus train and taxi and we do not have any worries if we prepay this up front. So I am going to concentrate now on finding a hotel for 2 nights. Also in our case a difficult search, it should have soundproof windows and clean those are our top priorities. Thank you all for your amazing tips ideas and time to write it down, I wish you all a great Sunday ! -
Cape Liberty, New Jersey Cruise Terminal

just checked uber it calculates me the price +/- 80 usd From what I have learned now is that there is no easy way to use public transportation between Manhattan and the Jersey Cruise Terminal, we always have to take a taxi or uber for the last part of the journey, right ? I have seen so many solutions, thank you for that : what would be the best possibility with the least hassle we do have 2 suitcases and one carry on and we are used to walk with them so we do not mind covering a "short" distance I do not have booked our hotel yet because I need to know in which area we should stay to avoid a difficult transfer to the Jersey cruise terminal I wonder if Royal Car. does not provide a shuttle service between the cruise terminal and Manhattan, they must have tons of people arriving from a cruise trying to get into Manhattan I need to give them a call have a wonderful weekend -

Wow you are all so informative thank you so much for your replies and time to get my this great advice. I just got a message back about the car pricing : "Tolls would be $23.2 while tip is discretionary" so this the total price would be 75.20 adding a tip of 20 % that would be 90 / 100 usd ... where I live that would be extremely expensive but this is not NY😄 -

I thank you both for your reply especially Mick B for this amazing explanation luckily we only need a one way transportation to Jersey as we do a TA from there 😀 I am trying to figure out what a taxi will charge and I found the website Carmel ( Taxi / Limmo service ) If I calculate the price from somewhere around the Empire State building to the cruise terminal for 2 people and 3 x luggage ( 2 big and one small ) I get 52 dollars which is not that bad but I see the toll is not incuded so I wonder : how much do I need to add for toll tried to find it but it is not clear to me. Could you give me an idea about what to add ( toll and tip ) thanks again all the best from Belgium -
A very good day, We are cruising out Cape Liberty, New Jersey Cruise Terminal next year in April ( RCI ) and need transportation from Manhattan ( not sure yet which hotel ) I read somewhere that RCI provides a bus service to the cruise terminal from Times Square but I cannot find anything on the website of Royal so before I call them is there anyone who has used this service ? if not what is the best way to get from Manhattan to the New Jersey Cruise Terminal it seems that a taxi is very expensive and there is no public transportation we can use. ( I checked google ) thanks for your tips and ideas have a great time
