You can still board around lunch time...it's definitely a different experience having sailaway be that late when you've only done cruises that leave mid afternoon..
-
Sometimes they will give a can, sometimes they will pour from a large plastic bottle.
The above applies to my oldest kid. I almost hope it's not included because he will try to drink them out of Dr Pepper.. And might succeed! I'm not paying for it if it's not included :')

But with no freestyle machines on Liberty... is the Dr. Pepper in the can and thus not available with the soda package?

I understand that a Kindle is technology, but I don't see it that way. I see it as a way to have a number of books conveniently available. I don't use it for internet browsing or movies, it's a black and white model that excels at what it's designed for. I especially like it for reading in full sunlight.
I'm the same way with my tablet. Although at home, I *DO* use it for all the internet/technology things, on a cruise ship, it is strictly a library. I tried bringing a couple of actual books once, and like usual, I plowed right through them and ended up "bored" during my quiet time. (I'm a multitasking reader, I can have conversations, people watch, etc, but if you take my book away from me I'm a bit kerfluffled and act like I have nothing to do.)

Oh man, I hope they are onboard 4/29. LOVE my Eagles!
Wolfgang, I'm just jealous that you'll still have Phil at the Schooner Bar... he leaves 2 weeks before we sail in June :loudcry:

Technically not unlimited food, but we've never been able to finish what we order. We've been told each person gets two appetizers, one entree, and one dessert.
You're right as usual, Bob... since even my teenagers (boys) can't finish their meal, it's as close to unlimited as it can get for me :)

Thanks for the advice. Leaning towards nachi resort. Does the $55 include unlimited drinks and food?
Yes, it does. The first thing I did after booking our June 2018 cruise back in March was to book Nachi.
Our kids love it too, but they're not the big partying type.

It appears to only be $10 off and only used for a deposit... am I missing something?
-
Thanks zippee! My parents are onboard with you and it's been so quiet about Oasis, so I was taking that as good news along with the "cyber stalking" i've been doing of the ship position :)

Was on the Adventure a couple weeks ago with prepaid gratuities. They never appeared on our bill. I wasn't sure if they'd show up, but then be credited or what.
We also had a small credit balance at the end of the week and it went straight back to the card with no issues. (Had some refundable and non-refundable OBC)

After our two and a half hour flight home from Tampa to Dallas took nine hours due to weather (much of that was sitting on the tarmac or at a gate), I'm all about being flexible on times :D
-
We were there that same Sunday, the KLM was over an hour late... we were on a tour and didn't end up getting to see it since we went to Maho early :(
-
We were on the same cruise and never changed clocks once we got to San Juan.

Amar is awesome!!
He truly is... we teased him that he was stalking us because we saw him everywhere! Even in port!

Awwwww.... I miss my peeps on the ship. Hubby is working on the review, but we had amazing servers in the dining room (MTD) and a few bartenders that I'd like to have brought home with me. (Amar in Schooner and Michelet in Lobby) :D

Yes, had escargot the first night. Have found other things to eat the other nights (and did chef's table one night) so I don't know if they've switched to scallops or not

Yes, it still changes nightly. I'll look when we get back to the ship as to the order before we lose cell service

I think Paul65 answered your question that you quoted. Some are inside and some are outside. It depends on where you stateroom is and what its muster station is. In other words nobody can answer the question for a ship but only for a particular stateroom, good luck finding out that information. Although as anal as some here are you might actually find the answer.:D:eek:
JC
Adventure does indeed have both indoor and outdoor muster stations. Our muster station this cruise is in one of the dining rooms.

Okay, so apparently this is the Chives menu... Which may not be new, but I don't think we've had before.

Have fun on your upcoming cruise!!!!! Also, if you have a chance see if you can find out more info about Adventure's upcoming renovations for us! Thank you so much in advance! Cheers
Thanks... there have been a couple threads about it already. But if we randomly hear something, we'll add it on our review.

WhiskeyTango, I agree. We're boarding on Saturday and can't wait...We'll have a great time!

I just had a dream last night about forgetting things (we fly to San Juan on Friday).
Somehow, I wasn't involved in packing or schlepping. We get to security to board and I ask my husband where my "cruise bag" is... It has passports, details about everything, jewelry, crucial stuff! He says "don't worry, it's packed!". "what about my makeup?" "I think most of it is packed"
He laughed when I told him about it because he says he knows better!
We once forgot the camera bag, but hadn't gone but a couple blocks from the house.

Do they have places to store my sofas overnight? Or do I just throw it overboard when I'm done with it and get a new one the next day? I don't think it will fit in my room.
