Leslie the assistant Maitre'd is awesome to help you with seating :)

I have gotten sick both ways. Last year hubby and I drove to port and the day we got off ship was very sick by the time we got home 6 hrs later
-
Just curious how many get sick after cruise? Last 2 or 3 we come home with respiratory/bronchitis issues.

I had similar issue.... Booked on ES rate and got a casino rate. The casino department told me I can still get price drops up until 2 days prior to sailing. Hope this helps :) Also if your ES rate was on a reduced deposit you will have to pay the rest of deposit and if there were any OBC with ES offer you loose those.

Second post today about this. These posts always seem to pushing the false premise that Carnival is going to once a day room service. Nothing could be farther from the truth. It's FAKE news. You have four choices for room service just like you have always had. Morning, evening, both, and none.
Sailed Conquest first week of February and was given a choice AM or PM. I was shocked too !!!

What type of holds and for what amounts. This is what makes me nervous. Not knowing how much money I need to set aside in this certain account. First time cruiser and I'm very OCD and a planner and like to have exactly what we need in this one account so I don't have to be transferring money throughout the trip.
$200 hold or you can take cash and not use a card :)

Take half as many clothes. Take more money than you think you will need. Spend $20 in the casino to remind yourself why you dont gamble. Join in a Lido game, join a line dance. Get up early and watch a sunrise. Find the "wind tunnel" door at the front of the ship and take silly pictures! (Our 1st cruise on the Paradise we spent probably 20 min every morning doing dumb stuff at those doors!) And HAVE FUN and TRY NEW THINGS!
What is wind tunnel door? Sounds like something we would like to try. Is there one on the Pride?

We prefer Royal but have also sailed Carnival 3 times 2 of those within 6 months apart. Carnival is a "party" atmosphere. Very casual dress in dining room. Shows not as good as Royals but we enjoyed them. Room service for breakfast has only continental things verses Royals has Eggs and such. Earlier this month in dining room I've witnessed two times extremely loud tables that was cussing extreme obscenities VERY disturbing. I've never had that experience on Royal but again alcohol seemed to be the root cause.
The family atmosphere is much different on Carnival so I am assuming NCL is similar to Royal. Any day at sea is a good day so enjoy and go into it with not expecting the level of NCL and you will enjoy. Also pools close between 10 pm and midnight another thing I didn't like on Carnival.

I personally would do the 6 night for the beach ports. Save the $400 because Ft Lauderdale and Miami are expensive pre cruise hotel. We stayed at Hyatt house and paid small fee to shuttle.

Our adult sons went with us Jesse is 5'8 170 lbs slept on Pullman Chris is 6 ft 215 lbs and slept on couch bed. Both did fine!

There more than just beautiful beaches to see in Bermuda. One day see St George, next day tour the Dockyard. Casino opens at 9 pm if i remember correctly, shows and dining same as always :)

Thanks everyone :) Hubby will be happy!!!!

We sailed Pride last September to Bermuda and LOVED LOVED LOVED it! Can't say the same for Grandeur of the Seas on Royal. We took that one last July and thought it was boring! Ship rocked like crazy and not much on activities. Pride was always hoping with stuff to do!!!
-
On 7 night cruises do they serve lobster on the Pride?
-
Not quite what you asked for, but we made it to HMC the first week in September in both 2015 and 2016.
Good to know since we are cruising first week of September this year :) We missed it in July one our first cruise back in 2002 on Prides inaugural year:p

Yes they have them :)

We did the Best of Aruba and beach tour through Carnival. It was Nice but chairs were not included those cost us $15 for 2 chairs. We didn't get an umbrella because only 2 hrs of beach time. Also get Bullfrog suntan lotion.... NO BURNS ever and I am fair skinned.
-
Whatever amount you load is all you can spend. They will send you a message to add more money :)
-
It does cost extra ... Crablegs are daily market price which was $19 per pound last week on Conquest.
-
We got the FTTF pass for upcoming cruise. My boarding time is 12-1 if I remember correctly. Is it one set time for those passes?
-
We sailed Pride last September and are going back on her this September. Curious to know if we will have new shows..... We had 88 Keys, Island Getaway, 80's pop to the max, Hasboro game show
-
You will see anything from Tuxedos like one or two to jeans and shorts. Several wore church style dresses.
-
Do you remember name of shows? We sailed her back in September to Bermuda and are going to sail her again this September to Eastern Caribbean. Hoping they get Flick by then! Just saw that one on Conquest last week.
