  1. We have checkin, later this week, and I just wanted to verify, we are able to skip uploading selfies and passports and come back and do that later, correct? I want to do check in for our entire group, to grab our check in time, but won’t have all that with me as it will be midnight When I’m doing this. Thank you as always for the help.

  2. We have had The Key in the past but it’s been awhile. Do you still get priority boarding ( after the suites, pinnacle) guests or do you just get to enter port easier?  We are sailing out of Port Canaveral.  Thanks

Labor day sale -- same prices as @GimmeOcean said.  (Anthem 18 Jan for me).  I bought it.  I'm traveling Solo, work requires me to have Voom.  so for $100 I get early embarkation, MDR Lunch day 1, MDR Breakfast departure, leisurely debarkation, good seats, no lines for theater, private flowrider.  Yes, I was waiting for the sale, I knew it would come eventually.

  3. We will be cruising this summer with our grandchildren (4 YoB and 8 YoG) for the first time. Tell me about the process for registering them for the kids club, etc. They may not be in there all the time but we know they will want to check it out a few times.

What else do we need to know about traveling on Carnival with kids?

    THANKS!!

    hello to all

Has anyone parked at  Town Point Garage across from the cruise port ?  Do they allow extended parking for cruise ? If so  how much  is it ? trying  not to park at ceder grove for upcoming cruise  oct 15th

    thanks

Sailing this weekend and most in my group are also avoiding Cedar Grove parking and are opting to park at the Airport and Uber over.

So if I Understood you correctly  'AspiringCindy', if you have a 10am check-in time (as I do on 8/5 for Oasis) and plan to park your car there... you should shoot to get onsite in Bayonne Pier at 9:15am?

If that is correct, and I get in early, do they have a sitting area for us to wait until the 10am check-in?

They really do not have a sitting area, arrive early and just hang out in your car until closer to check-in time or you see the lines forming otherwise you will be standing on hot concrete.

  6. I know this has been gone over before but I’m still confused…. I need this spelled out to me in English I guess.  We are scheduled to sail to Alaska on June 20th

I MUST attend an in person staff meeting next week for work (June 2), there will be 85 in attendance and I have done all I can to get out of attending it but cannot.   I plan to stay away from everyone as much as possible and wear a N95 mask to protect myself from catching Covid.  Besides this meeting my husband and I are pretty much in lock down trying not to get sick before we fly across country and then sail.

Based on the statement from Carnival below and if I am reading this and doing the math correctly IF one of us were to watch Covid BEFORE June 10th all we need to bring with is a copy of our in person positive Covid test BUT if we were to test positive June 11 - June 20 we cannot go without a negative test or we cannot go at all?

As for this Document of Recovery - Do I need a note from my Doctor that I am okay to travel along with the copy of the “positive viral test result from a certified laboratory (dated no more than 90 days prior to the sailing date)”. ?  I have read some say yes and some say no yet no one is sharing where it says yes or no to the Dr. Note.

Is there anyone here who has sailed under the Document of Recovery rules and can personally tell me their experience?

I am beyond stressed out over not understanding the dates involved and what to do if I do get Covid from this stupid June 2nd meeting.

    From Carnival’s Site:

    Document of Recovery

Guests who have recovered from COVID-19 within 3 months of their sailing date do not need the required pre-cruise test if they are at least 10 days past their positive test result date, have no symptoms and produce document of recovery from COVID-19. A Document of Recovery is accepted from both fully vaccinated and unvaccinated guests (with a Carnival-approved exemption) and consists of a paper or electronic copy of the positive viral test result from a certified laboratory (dated no more than 90 days prior to the sailing date).

  7. Here is the scenario - Traveling on Carnival with 3 other couples next month.  Three have suites, one does not.  I know with Suites we have to do the online check-in and then can arrive at that time or after and have priority boarding.

The 3rd, couple, the one without the suite, they are registered with wheelchair assist boarding.  Do they need to do the online check-in for a boarding time as well? If they do, and I am assuming they do and they get a much later boarding time that the other couples, can they just board with us?

Thanks for any info you can provide on this.

  8. For those who have cruised Alaska on Carnival with a drink package - I just saw this at the bottom of the package details: Would this include the two sea day from San Francisco to our first port while in the Pacific Ocean? Are we in US waters or international waters for that portion of the trip.  Not sure how close the ship stays to shore,  also do we know what the tax is in Alaska?  Just working on the budget for our June cruise and rather not be surprised.  Thanks

"Applicable state and local taxes will be charged to the guest folio when this program is used within US waters. The tax is based on the state's tax structure and the cost of the individual drink purchased (not the daily program rate). For example: if the drink price is $5 and the tax is 10%, the guest's Sail & Sign card will be charged $0.50 for tax. This applies to all US ports (embarkation home ports and ports-of-call)."

  9. Just saw online our Miracle cruise itinerary has completely changed for June 2022.  They have dropped Skagway and Icy Strait and replaced with Sitka and Ketchikan.  Also the schedule of Port and sea days completely different as well.

Anyone know why?  No problem with changes, except now I have all new excursions to book when we had completed that months ago to ensure we get what we wanted.   (I am doing all the scheduling for 4 couples).  Anyone know what is good to do in Sitka?  How about Ketchikan?   Carnival does not even have the excursions posted anymore.
