I am trying to find out what specific activities they have for children, without them joining the kids camp. Does anyone happen to have any recent Gem dailies?

Hi. I don't know where I heard it, but is it true that they got rid of Nickelodeon? I am specifically interested in the Gem. Also, if they did, did they replace it with something else? I am just wondering what types of activities they have for children, aside from the camp.

Oh really? It doesn't list it on NCL's website as being on the Gem. So you can get the daily list of activities, make reservations, text your friends, etc.? What is the cost?

Does anyone know if the iConcierge app is available on the Gem, now that it went through dry dock?

- What did they put in place of the bowling alley?

- Did the casino change? New machines?

- Outdoor TV screen?

- New menus?

- Anything else?

Does anyone have a copy of the current room service menu?

Thanks all. One more question. I see that the wifi is $29.99 per day. Can you purchase it mid cruise? Let's say days 4-7 of a 7 day cruise? I am thinking about choosing the free 250 wifi minutes as my "free at sea" choice

Hi. I am about to book a 7 day cruise on the Gem and trying to figure out which "free at sea" option to choose. I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with the following scenarios?

For the $50 excursion credit......if you choose not to do an excursion in a port or two, will NCL give you the $50 per port credit to apply to your onboard expenses?

For the 250 free wifi minutes, will they allow you to apply the cost of that package towards the unlimited wifi package instead?

Hi. Does anyone know how much the 12 pack of water is if you purchase it on the ship vs. before you board?

I was on the Splendor last week 8/4-8/12 out of NYC. Roulette was $5 minimum every night on the cruise, craps was $5, and blackjack was $6.

How about 3 card poker? Did you notice if they had $5 tables?

How far is Quincy Market from where you get off the ship?

Do you always hear back from them when you email the Players' Club or do you have to wait until you board to see if you are entitled to something?

What is it with no 2016 cruises out of NY until June?

We just got off the Splendor 8 night cruise to San Juan, St. Thomas and Grand Turk. Will answer all questions to hopefully help any CC's in their planning. We had a great time we always do~there were a few bumps in this cruise and I am not talking about the weather! :eek: I will be working on my review in the next few days and looking forward to any questions. Just a few facts. We were a party of 8, 4 adults and our 4 DD's(21,21,19 and 16):eek: We were in the double porthole rooms and we loved them. We ate ATD in the Black Pearl and loved the adults only aft pool. Happy Cruising!!!

What is a double porthole cabin? Is that considered an ocean view? I am on the Splendor in September and have a mid ship ocean view on deck one. Does that mean that I will have a porthole and not a full window?

You need to be within final pay, and own at least 100 shares of CCL stock. You must show a current brokerage statement (within two months) to prove ownership.

 

The credit is one per cabin, not per guest.
