  1. I never thought of that. Good thinking. Most of the time I just watch the NFL games. Go Patriots!!

    Tony

NFL games are not an option in March.... but I hope there will be some basketball tourney shown. Last time I was on the Regal for March Madness the only place the games were being shown was in at the Bar in the Casino. Regal is lacking a "Sports Bar"

  2. I hope you are not going to cancel your cruise just because you don't like the movies which are on.

I usually like to know what I might expect so I avoid those movies at the RedBox over the next few weeks.

  3. Another post had these listed for MUTS last week. They are usually the same on all the ships. Can anyone add to the list?

Dr. Strange, the magnificent 7, keeping up with the Jones, Eddie the Eagle, Inferno.

  4. Thank you for your response. I am now requesting my daughter and her friend sprint to the Sanctuary upon boarding the ship. I understand it is forward on deck 17. However, I have read there is a peculiar midship stairwell-not going to the top deck. Any advice on the most efficient path for us to take to the sanctuary to increase our chances of securing 2 lounges?

    Thank you

    Vince and Pam

Take the midship elevator to lido deck on 16walk toward the forward. Then head to the stairs on the other side of the fountain/pool and go up one deck to 17. Walk all they way forward. Entrance on the right side.

Be sure to check out the Enclave too.

  5. Can't speak to the Enclave as we didn't use it. First week Sanctuary and Retreat pool cabanas were booked out - however, we were able to book for the second week sea days

Were you able to book the second week only because as a B2B you were the first ones up to the sanctuary on the second leg? Did you go immediately back to the sanctuary before the new passengers were on board? Did the week then fill up later?

  6. The Soda and More package also includes hot chocolate. My husband got it on the Regal last month; we purchased as soon as we boarded, and it was $7 per day. I believe they charge more on the website. He actually got hot chocolate a couple of times because we had coolish weather on our cruise.

It is more online because they add in the 15% gratuity, which they will do on board as well.

What I am still wondering is if they $5 fruits smoothies sold at horizon are included for free in the soda and more package.

  7. I'd like to know if the "slap a luggage tag on it" method still works for a case of water. Coming from ft Lauderdale this is the easiest way for sure. But it's been a while.

I usually pack a soft sided duffle with Diet Pepsi and water. Then the bag just folds up small into another bag.

  8. there is no food, etc at Terminal 2 where you will probably line up to get on board. Basically just a big warehouse.

Unless you are in a suite. The room where the suites and elites wait to board has some light "snacks". Usually some breakfast type pastries.

  9. We just were on a cruise on the Regal. We pre-paid our $99 package. Well worth it but you do get a ton of photos...every photo you pose for and you also receive a flash drive of all the pics in the form of a little Princess cruise ship flash drive.

After you pick out your photos from the board the next day you leave your flash drive with them for them to load to it.

For group photos, you do get that with your package and you can have them developed for others once home with the flash drive.

    Well worth the $99

Just ordered this for march cruise on Regal.

You leave you flash drive with them and the printed photos? Then come back the next day? They then give you all the prints you handed them after they load your flash drive? You have to repeat this everyday to get you pics loaded?

    Thanks.

  10. Fellow Cruise addicts what are your pre cruise rituals.

    A few of mine are:

Watching all the ships leave port Everglades every Saturday, you get to virtual wave at the passengers

Watch cruise ship videos on you tube

Pack three months ahead, I do unpack and repack each week. (I know what you are thinking right now, and yes I am a little nut)

    Your turn!

You don't use any of those item you pack for 3 months?

I obsessively read this Forum as soon as the cruise is booked.

Make lists. Lots of lists of what I will pack.

  11. If you want a particular time/ day then book in advance. If you are not particular then wait for the specials on board. They offer lots of different discounts For multiple treatments. And big savings on treatments on port days that you can only take advantage of if you book onboard.

  12. I have been looking for information for the sanctuary.

Beside the dedicated lounger what else to you get for your 40.00 a day. Can you move you lounger around? I love being outside but I also the the shade.

You can not move the lounger. Some ships the Stewart's will flip it so the feet are where the head was when the sun moves but not others. When you choose your lounger you are choosing one that is either in the shade or the sun. You can only pick from what is left when you go up to reserve. You also get a special menu with food that is delivered to you ($3 service charge). They also bring you tea service right to your lounger at 3:30 everyday. Included.
