Trying to get my head around the coffee card, does it give unlimited regular coffee here and 15 specialities/gelatos?
Just trying to work out if I could use for coffees and daughter also get the gelato.
Thanks, Donna x

Princess newbie but from what I have read:
We can embark earlier than our stated embarkation time;
We can eat lunch in buffet and MDR on embarkation, is this correct? Anywhere else? Where would people recommend lunch on embarkation day?
Cabins are ready quite early, do they give a time that it will be ready by?
I am thinking of booking the Sanctuary (lounger) for a sea day do I go straight there after embarking and try to make the reservation?
Anything special that happens on embarkation day/evening that we shouldn't miss?
Thanks, Donna x

Oliver is 13 so he is charged as an adult anyway.
SammyBonny P&O are stricter on the dress code than Princess but the majority of passengers on Princess still follow the dress code.
Flo71 we have been very lucky to spot the deals at the right time. I'm so excited to be on the British Isles cruise, what are great way to see Ireland and Scotland.
Sewlady unfortunately P&O don't acknowledge any of your Princess cruises are actually quite mean with the loyalty benefits. We have cruised on P&O several times, the children get a free sweat shirt but as adults we get nothing more than a 5% discount on excursions and on board spend.
So glad I spotted this post about flash sales and booked when I did. :D My previous p&o cruises are showing on Princess except for 1 and this is the one that DD went on and it isn't showing on hers either. So I am gold and she is blue, I have emailed a few days a go but no reply. Don't suppose it makes any difference anyway.

Flash sale is over, looks like all obstructed balconies at £799 sold out and price for balcony cabin now £1599 each  (my cruise 1st Aug British Isles)

I am thinking of booking a lounger in the sanctuary for a sea day and have been looking at the menus. On the menus it lists mocktails at $4 if I have a soda and more package are these covered?
Thanks, Donna

Thank you, I'll try to be patient and wait for them to sort it out. ;):)

The website is not recognising my email and password, even if I put in forgot password it tells me my email isn't registered. Was working fine yesterday.
Anyone else having this problem too?

Thank you for the information x

Ooh, I hadn't heard of this, ideal for keeping in touch with my 14 year old onboard the Royal - as long as it works of course.
Do you have to sign up for it?

Next cabin type would be a mini-suite.
We can dream :D

I have emailed them and asked for a reply to confirm whether this was possible :)

Since they are completely unobstructed, I would book a specific BZ cabin on Marina/Lido deck if one is available and ask for it to be marked will accept upgrade to next type cabin only (meta upgrade).
I have booked the BZ gty last night and am reading your post this morning with interest, I booked with direct with Princess will they accept my upgrade restriction? Do I phone them to inform them or can I email them with this request?
I assume I should say something like. 'I have booked a BZ GTY cabin and would only accept an upgrade to the next cabin type not a different grade of obstructed balcony.'
Would the next cabin type be unobstructed balcony?
Thank you for your help, Donna.

A lot of the cruise line branded merchandise goes on sale big time towards the end of the cruise. T shirts, jackets, hats etc. Tables full of stuff including things they bring out from the back. So don't buy anything early in the cruise unless really needed.;)
Yep window shop only first few days, no buying until the end of cruise sales.;):D

It's a given.

Just seen on the Princess website that the Royal is excluded from milkshakes in the package - oh well, we will wait till onboard and see what the fruit juices are like before purchasing. I will definitely get a soda package for me but mostly DD drinks bottled water or apple juice, so might not be worth it for her.

I think you will love it, beautiful ship. :)
Quite excited, even though I'm from UK I haven't been to any of the places it docks apart from France, lol.
It is a girls only break as hubby has work commitments, so just me and 14 year old daughter!:D
