We just returned from Beyond Med Rome to Barcelona cruise. We had an aqua class room with an infinite balcony. We absolutely hated the infinite “balcony” (wasn’t a balcony at all, just an extension of the room with a window you can open, essentially). Anyway, we loved the Beyond, but don’t want another infinite veranda. What class needs to be booked to have the traditional veranda cabin with sliding doors? Seems all the verandas only offer infinite. thanks!

This is what I’m having an issue obtaining. Apparently my doctor cannot (or will not?) provide the actual lab test result printout. They just typed on the COR letter “confirmed PCR test result to be Positive”.

Makes me wonder how many people actually do this. And really - how thoroughly can they be checking the test results for thousands of people? Very disappointed and frustrated.

Was hoping for a complete elimination of pre cruise testing. So confusing and stressful!

We are traveling in 2 weeks out of Rome, and having had COVID in early July, we decided to get a Certificate of Recovery just in case. We submitted the request to our physician, specifically requesting the test results from our PCR taken there, and a letter outlining we are good for travel. I just opened the letter. On the top half, he confirmed the PCR results as positive on July 7th, and on the bottom half, noted my full recovery, no symptoms and deemed me safe for travel. I was hoping for the official printout of “PCR SARS-COVID positive” like some places provide, but apparently, they can’t provide that. They can only confirm on the letter. His confirmation of the positive PCR test taken, and the “good for travel” with his signature at the bottom should be fine, yeah? I called Celebrity, and all they said was “we just need to see the test result and that you’re good for travel” but noted without seeing the form, they can’t say yes or no (understandable). Am I worrying too much?! So stressful!
