It was either night 5 or 6...which ever was not the formal night of the 2 nights!
-
My DW and I always leave post-it's in the room and we also specify what area will be always try to sit in on the deck around the pool. This helps us to know where each other may be if we need one another.
-
The sinks in the room have water that is more often than not better than most bottled water. We take a few empties and just refill them through out the cruise. The ships water is desalinated and then either distilled or run through reverse osmosis depending on the ship.

Can someone tell me when the Formal nights are on the Allure Eastern
thank you :)
Night 3 and 6 if I recall correctly.
-
Then it may depend on what kind of card you have.
My American Express card never names the ship. All charges say Royal Caribbean.
Interesting Fact. I have only ever seen it charged by the ship. Good to know for future reference. Thanks!:D

I always say wear what you are comfortable in as it is your vacation. I have only seen people turned away form the main dining room if they were wearing shorts and/or flip flops. Other than that no one bats and eye...well other than the fashion police that will say it will ruin their lives if you don't wear a Prada dress and an Armani tux on formal nights!
Have fun its your vacation and you obviously you know what you like to wear. :D

All I can tell you is that the bed will be by the closet/bathroom.

Just trying to decide whether it is worth getting a drinks package or not. My husband and I are quite partial to a pina colada! How much are frozen cocktails? Need price info before we decide whether the package will be value for $$ or not. TIA
Typically between $6.75 and $8.50 but some are as much as $12+ for say a premium patron margarita.

Trying to decide between which ship to book. Oasis is about $500 more. We do like Nassau but not sure about CocoCay. Is Oasis worth the price difference if we like both itineraries?
It is all personal preference. There is more on the Oasis but if you don't intend on partaking int he extras then it may not be worth it. We have sailed both Oasis class ships and Freedom. We would sail either at any given time. If you have not sailed an Oasis class ship I say go for it as for me it would be worth it.
-
We have only been charged once at the end or the cruise or a few days latter. It always comes up as a charge from the ship that you are on and not a charge from Royal Caribbean. So if you sail the Oasis it will say a charge from Oasis of the Seas.

As Bob (Clarea) pointed out you could start a roll call for your cruise at the link he provided. If you start it others will come and join. :)
"If you build it they will come"...sorry couldn't resist.

We are going down a few days early before cruising on the Allure.
Will we be able to see the ships come in and out from there?
Thanks
You will once the are out of the port area heading for open water. I wish I could find my photo of Oasis going out to sea from the beach in front of the hotel.

Not a view from your balcony but a view of said "tarps"

I know Oasis is in a league of its own, but the prices for Freedom are much cheaper. Is Oasis really worth the extra money? We like to "know we are on a cruise" so we were a little worried about Oasis. Which would you chose?
It all depends...will it just be you and a significant other or will you be having children coming with?
I have sailed Freedom and both Oasis and Allure. There are more "extra cost" eating venues on Oasis so if you are a foodie may be a better choice. We liked the size and things to do on Freedom and would sail that class again if the time and itinerary were right.
If you are sailing with kids Oasis would be my choice hands down. So much more for them to do on this ship. This could even be true if you yourself were a kid at heart.
-
Sorry but these as pictured above would be my least favorite option on the Radiance class ships....My favorite is of course the JS #1100 or any of the true afts...Love this class of RCI ship and have sailed on them many times.
Oh I agree...much larger balcony but NO PRIVACY! It is one of the trade off's for those balconies.

You can make reservations from 5:30-9:30

I have also hear people rave on and on about them. I can attest that they were the best on Oasis in 2009, good on Allure in 2012 and just ok on Enchantment in 2013.
They were always served with Au Jus but on Enchantment the "Au Jus" was just gravy...
They are simply an Italian style french dip roast beef sandwich on a salted bun. Like a said they were to Die for on Oasis but I would not go out the the way to get one when we were on Enchantment...very let down there.

Could someone tell me where to get a review of cabin 3070 on deck 3. Thanks.
What ship???
-
Deck 7 rooms:
7014-7046
7514-7546
7152-7170
7652-7670
All of these rooms have larger than normal balconies. But have obstructed views directly down to the sea!

that is interesting...

I think you lucked out like we did. We for a FOV on Jewel in Sept room 7504. I would also be interested in hearing reviews on the FOV rooms on the radiance class ships as well.

I
4.) Go to the Solarium or Sky Bar, have a tropical cocktail (repeat as necessary).
This is Key to an AWESOME sailaway day and cruise!

Yes, you can use your soda package at Johnny Rockets.
You can get the coke, diet coke, & Sprite but the ROOT BEER is not included with the soda card just and FYI

No I was stating that it will be the night that is not the Formal night. So if formal night is night 6 then Quest would be night 5
