Aft Lover, NCL site has had that info on their site for quite awhile now.
-
I just pulled up my Dec statement and the only thing that is mentioned about Worldpoints is that we will automatically be enrolled 1/1/09.
There was a blank page...I don't know when we will get info.
-
Magnolia Blossom, I am not very patient either...I keep checking for someone to post the info. Maybe they are still mulling it over...maybe that is good for us. :)
-
Are you able to look at your statement on line? Just wondered if it would show there???
-
I was just checking BOA site to see if they had any info on the new NCL Worldpoints. One of those online chat reps came on and I asked if we would be getting that info online soon. She said, as we know already that we will get it through the mail with our statements and she did not think it would ever be available on line. Now, this makes me slightly hopeful that our worldpoints will be a better deal than the other ones.
I guess we should find out soon.
Whoever finds out first...remember to post it here!!!

Oh yes charges to NCL are 4%

mailbroad, charges only have to be posted...not paid for. If you choose to pay your cruise hoping to get points remember to do it a few days before the 31st. Sometimes it takes a few days for items to post and it needs to show posted to rcv the point credit.

Well I have about 250 points right now. I know I can do 250 more by the end of the year easily so that I would be able to get my first and probably last $500 certificate.I keep trying to figure out how I could do 750 points to get the 1000. My closing date is today, the 20th. ...so I do have 250. But can I get 250 by Nov 20, another 250 by Dec 20...and then I would have about 10 days to get another 250 points. Keep in mind that for 3% it would be spending over $8 for each 250. I need to get over it and just be happy to get the one and only $500 cert...but my mind keeps whirling...

This is what I figure they will do. My closing date is the 20th, so Dec. 20 they will do as normal. I will continue to earn points from 21-31st and I assume they will close that out again(at least as far as points go). It will be like an end of year statement, maybe. Jan 1 begin earing on the new system if you are going to stay with them. They will have plenty of time to ship cers out by Jan 31 if they close everyone out Dec 31. It will be more work for them ....oh well...

You would need to spend $8800. To figure out how much you need to spend take 264/.03 if regular spending. If you are charging to NCL it would be .04

Even I didn't understand that first sentence. Hopefully the example will make it clear.
The question is: Will I get reimbursed for the cruise reward(the $250) that I use for a deposit when turning in certs that will cover the total cost of a cruise.

So if you have pay your deposit for your next cruise with a cruise rewards coupon(pay $250, get $100 OBC) if you turn in enough certificates to $250?
Example: On cruise A I pay $250 for a cruise reward and get $100 OBC for cruise A...and the $250 will be a deposit for cruise B.
I then use the $250 deposit for cruise B, which has a total cost of $1000. I then turn in 2 certificates($500 each). Will I get reimbursed or credited for my $250 cruise reward deposit?

I just recently received my NCL credit card. My question is can you use a certificate for the deposit on a cruise?
