I do plan to carry plenty in my carry-on.  I would also like some in my checked luggage. I am just asking if Royal Caribbean would have any problem with that: I know it sounds silly, but a friend suggested that possibly the Epipens would be confiscated once the bags are checked, so now I'm just a little worried.

I've done both and had no problems.

  2. Not to stir the pot but would like to put it out there that for some of us, the Windjammer is not an option.  I have a life threatening food allergy.  I'm not going to be able to forgo the MDR if I don't feel like putting on a ball gown.

Maybe an option would be to host a nominal upcharge formal night in one of the specialty restaurants or do a free formal reception, like before dinner.  For that event, enforce the dress code, do candlelight, have fru fru cocktail and Champagne specials, violinists or whatever, set up the photo area, etc.  That way people who want that experience can have it and people who don't aren't regulated to the buffet that evening.  Dressy people get their formal night without forcing everyone to participate.  No?

On Liberty a couple of years ago, the dealer at our 3 card poker table was either drunk or just a mess. The same wins were paid out differently, hands that weren’t wins were paid as wins, and there was zero interaction between dealer and players!  Definitely not like any land based casino we’ve ever been in.

Yup.  Same for us.  It's a shame really.  There is interest and money to be made but nope.

Agreed.  You have to watch the dealers like a hawk.  Most couldn't read the hands once you showed it.  Others forgetting to burn cards.  They never knew who's action it was.  I wish they had a better poker game.  Wife is an early to bed type and I would love to sit at a game.  Don't get me started on the rake, it makes it unplayable.

    Preach!

Looks like some passengers already do, no class.

Honestly, I am not bothered by what people are wearing at dinner or anywhere else.  I dress well for dinner as does my SO but that's just our personal preference.  A person in shorts next to us doesn't ruin my evening.  I feel the same in land restaurants BTW.   A pair of jeans in Ruth's Chris does not wreck my steak or my night.  To each his own, I say.

Just want to confirm... by "online check in" do you mean check in via website Cruise Planner and print a Setsail Pass, or do you mean check in via app on phone?

I used both the website and app to enter our pre embarkation info, to make purchases, for planning, etc.  I printed a pass as a back up along with our luggage tags from the website but used the app on my Samsung phone to actually check in and board.  Didn't need the back up paper passes, didn't need to retake our pics, etc.  Only thing they needed to see at check in was the CC I registered and our ID's.  A person with an iPad met us as we walked in and made it happen.  It was super simple and eliminated the usual juggle of purse, carry on,  coat, etc. to get to our paper tickets.  I liked it a lot.  I really only had the paper in case something happened to my phone or the system.

  7. The poker tourney on the Anthem year before last was a complete joke.  The dealer actually didn't know the rules of the game.  Seriously.  They ended up giving money back, which we all know RCCL loves to do.  We book though the casino and this is our number one comment when asked to do a survey.

  8. Pretty sure we got the bucket on the package.  I'm pretty sure they weren't supposed to but, if you're tipping well, they really don't say no to anything.  IME.  Top shelf, multiple drinks, unopened containers, etc.  There have been times we've been offered and took the rest of a bottle of sparkling, with glasses, from a regular bar venue for room drinking, on the package.   Especially when you tip cash, as we always do.  And no, we don't share our drink packages nor do we get obnoxious or blackout.  We're all lushes but we know how to behave and temper and we always have our own plan. I am sure it varies from server to server, ship to ship, etc.  Just saying we've never had a problem with any request, whether it's allowed or not, so long as it's reasonable.

I wonder what would happen if they had a "Wear Your Worst" night.  It would be funny to see them turn some folks away.  "We are sorry ma'am, but you don't look comfortable enough to eat here tonight."  "Excuse me sir, but baseball caps must be worn at all times in the MDR this evening."  "You can rent an ugly holiday sweater or pajama bottoms for a nominal fee."

I think wear your worst could be really fun actually.

Ok here's  the facts. From someone who actually had a junior suite, and went out of baltimore on granduer.

Yes you do get priority boarding. In fact in my few cruises, baltimore has one of the nicest suite waiting areas.

And they do have a concierge lounge, up by the viking crown lounge. I did not try to enter because i thought that was for grand suite and above. Diamond lounge is down on six.

Not many ports tender. So we did not tender for any, so i can not answer that.

    And yes bathrobe in suite.

We choose to self disembark, but was not offered luggage valet, i assume that's once again for grand suite and above    Hope this helps

Will be back on her in Nov

We pretty much had the same experience.  That being said, the tub/shower make this cabin worth it every time vs. the dreaded shower curtain situation in the regular cabins.
