  1. So our August trip was cancelled. I used a future cruise credit for $300 and paid $477 for the remainder. Based on email below I received am I getting 125% on total price or just the amount I paid in cash? Too me it reads I’m getting 125% on the full price.

    1. 125% Future Cruise Credit: We’re providing you with a 125% Future Cruise Credit to re-book a new cruise by December 31, 2021 for sailings departing on or before April 30th, 2022.

This amount will be based on your total cruise fare paid. And, we’re giving you a little extra, knowing that this is such a unique circumstance.

We will automatically issue you your Future Cruise Credit by July 31st, 2020 via email. So, there’s nothing for you to do!

Taxes & fees and any RoyalUp upgrades will be automatically refunded. Current refund processing is around 45 days. We are working as quickly as possible and we appreciate your patience.

    Please note:

If you opted into the Cruise with Confidence 100% Future Cruise Credit, this offer does not apply.

And, if you previously used a Future Cruise Certificate, you’ll receive a new Future Cruise Certificate. This will be for 125% of any new monies paid on this sailing, plus the reactivated value of your original certificate at 100% of its value, with an expiration date of December 31, 2021 and a sail by date of April 30, 2022.

  2.
You will not get 125% because RC did not cancel your sailing.  You cancelled to early.  Not being able to book August is not an official cancellation.  As of today,  RC only announced sailings are cancelled through July 31st.

You are eligible for a 100% FCC.  Although you cancelled, you may be able to call and lift and shift.  RC is under no obligation to do this as your reservation is now cancelled.

I didn’t cancel just found out from news that our cruise is cancelled

I always go back and forth on this - I want to be on board starting my vacation, but I don't want to have to lug my carry-ons around for a couple hours waiting for rooms to open. It would be nice to go straight to our room for once, and drop the bags off immediately. Ultimately, my impatience wins out and we always show up early. 🙄

We NEVER bring carry ins since room isn’t available until 1:00. We check everything and enjoy the ship while watching others lug their luggage around!!!

Also you can show up whenever you'd like and should have no problem getting in to check-in or on board depending on when they start boarding.  They are only suggested times.

    Thanks

Thats what I thought but just wanted to make sure. We like to board early to have lunch and explore and it’s usually very quiet which is nice.

  5. We have tour with him in a few weeks.  Did you bring items for locals.  He mentioned toiletries and I'm wondering what to bring and how much?  He mentioned the possiblitiy of items being confiscated so I was wondering what you did.

  6. I haven't been able to use the mobile app for a while.  I try to log in and it says LOG IN FAIL THE OPERATION COULDN'T BE COMPLETED (FORUM SSO ERROR 2).

I know I'm using the right username and password since I signed in on my laptop to post.  I've deleted app and downloaded again and still get the same message.

Anyone else dealing with this issue or know how to resolve?

  7. We are doing a private tour with Blexie and he mentioned toiletries are good items to bring.  How much should we bring (I'm thinking travel size).

I'm also concerned about items being confiscated when we get off the boat.  Any recommendations?  Also, who do we give the items to?
